The picture posted here shows 'special files' for Romeo & Cinderella (what the initials RTS is for). And what this is about, what I'm trying to figure out is what these specific other files are. And where they go on the list of files when we open an EDAT with AFS2EXT and try to rewrite a file in order to have another song as a DLC. I know the two ending with C is for camera, and I is for item. But what are the others with V and O for? And other songs would have files like this too. Here's what all I've discussed with Kasumi that's related to this. https://projectdiva.net/community/threads/module-nozomi-tojou-the-secret-garden-perfect.1843/ And isn't there a way to create our own EDAT for songs like we do for our modules? Like just make our own list of files for it?
EDATs are just CPKs but need so much hex editinh to make PjD even just read it. If the module EDAT maker can be reverse-engineered (know its code) and add more options for Camera IGB, song name, song slot and all the other stuff, custom DLC songs are just a few file gatherings away.
Sorry for the late response but I remember what EDATs are and that the files for them need resizing from our last conversation. But how do you know the code to reverse-engineer the module maker? And is it to add more files to an EDAT? I started this thread in the first place to know what the other files mean, what they're about for a song like I posted above. And it's because even though you may not need it to play, I don't want anything missing or wrong with the video. It's also because I'm interested in having the songs & modules thumbnail/icon instead of the grey saying 'extra'. I understand the resizing on hex edit, but doesn't that like cut off a piece of the file you're resizing? That's what it looked like when I tried resizing.
The gray saying "extra" is shared between ALL DLC songs. If you look at Diva2ExData.cpk (or Diva2Data.cpk) there's rtmg_thumb_0x.png and you can see the "extra" thing. Also, it's really hard to restore the full PV. The secret garden already has a working chart, but the PV too months before I was able to release the DLC. And even now, the PV isn't perfect.
