First of all Hi! I'm new to the forum and i wanted to ask, I know there is DLC to this game, currently if I'm not mistaken there's the character pack and the PoPiPo one with i think a snow miku one and family mart one coming soon. So first i know (or think i know) that the upcoming PS3 port will include 6 new songs i think so, will i have to purchase the game to be able to download them? Also is it possible to play this game in my US account and AS account?, like say i will use the AS account when i want DLC and US one when i don't really mind.(also i don't mind having two different save files) If anyone can help me Thanks!
Hello, and welcome! :) It's not really my job or my specialty to answer questions, but I can tell you that if you read through the threads in the forum beforehand you will find answers to (probably) all your questions. But I'm too lazy to find these threads for you and I want to be helpful for once, so here's what I know and have read: Yes, there is (and will be) DLC for all of those things. Yes, the PS3 version will include 6 new songs, and I think it's been confirmed that owners of the Vita-version will be able to get these songs, but (I think) you'll need a Japanese or Asian PSN for this. It's possible to play this game with any region-account, but for DLC you'll need a Japanese or Asian account, but I'm not sure all DLC will be available for the Asian PSN (I don't own a Vita, so I've only heard about this from others) If you play the game on the PS3 you can freely switch between different accounts, but I've heard a lot about the Vita being a pain and only allowing one account at a time. You can find a guide on how to re-format your Vita for switching accounts, and you will have to do this every time you want to switch. I hope I answered your questions correctly, otherwise the pros of the forum can tell you or direct you to other places in the forum, I really advice you to search for information before asking anything so there aren't a bunch of threads asking the same things (or maybe someone should make a Q&A about this?) And once again, welcome! ^^
Helpful for once? Give yourself a bit more credit, your helpful most of the time. ^_^ It's like Almeria said you can have multiple PSN accounts attached to a PS3 by just switching profiles when you start the system or at any time you'd like through the XMB. If you have a Japanese or Asian PSN account then you should be able to purchase the DLC. Make sure you have a funding source that applies for each account because you cannot use a currency that does not apply to that countries account. In other words, you cannot use an American PSN Gift card with a Japanese PSN account, you must purchase an equivalent Japanese PSN gift card. Same goes for credit cards, again search the forum to figure out how to purchase the right cards for your accounts if you do not know what to do. You don't need the game to buy the DLC but without the game, how will you play your newly purchased content? You can currently play any game regardless of region on both the Vita and the PS3, you will need to have either specific game in order to play the DLC, just make sure to select the one for your version of the game when purchasing it. Now as far as the cross platform deal is concerned I know with Project Diva 2nd, if you bought any DLC and then purchased Dreamy Theater 2nd you are able to download a specific variation of that DLC for free. I would assume this would be the same process for f/F but don't quote me on it. You don't need to worry about save files, the game is tied to your system and not your PSN account. If you log into your other profiles on the PS3, you can still play off the same save file provided you have the game either installed via media download if you purchase a digital copy or launching the physical copy from the original disc. The only time you need to be in a specific account is if the game requires you to log into one, which I don't think this will ask you to but don't quote me on that. Most of the time that kind of thing happens is when it comes to multi-player gaming or accessing shared content like leaders boards and such. Having multiple memory sticks for the Vita is a way to keep your content without it being wiped when you switch accounts but can be very tedious at times.
