Today SEGA has announced that they will lay off 300 employees not only as part of a restructuring of the company, but the future is in online PC games and mobile games, all of them will appear only digital. Consoles are rarely supported in the future with SEGA games. Is this "the end" of Hatsune-Miku-Games? I'll hope not... Do they sell the brand "Miku"? (to another company)? I want new games for the PS4...and hope, that they will come only as digital download... What do you think?
Re: SEGA lay off 300 employees and leaving the console busin Sauce please? lol Miku is owned by Crypton, not SEGA. EDIT: Okay, I think that I've found some articles on it. But that's only for SEGA of America, isn't it?
Re: SEGA lay off 300 employees and leaving the console busin Seems like it, but I've also heard that SEGA as a whole in dire straits. I could put on my cynicism hat and think about the worst case scenario, but I'd rather it won't come to that. For now, I guess all we can do is wait and see how this pans out.
Re: SEGA lay off 300 employees and leaving the console busin I hope this doesn't affect our Mikus............
