    Hello everyone,

From now on we are enforcing strict rules against piracy, no direct download links to any song without the author consent will be tolerated in this forums.
All the Edit Data threads with direct links have been edited to remove such links.
No users have been warned, from now on users comitting this offense will be given a warning.
There is no problem in providing direct links for the Edit Data itself (save-game file) or uploading it as an attachment to our forums.

We endorse the use of legit links for Amazon.co.jp, Karent, piapro or any other authorized music providers.
    Please support the producers!

The user miku39pack has collaborated with more than 10 Edit Datas providing purchase links for the songs, a special trophy has been made in his honor and it's also obtainable by other users.

The badges system is still not finished, an announcement will be made soon with more details!

    Thank you.

  2. So we can no longer post a direct link to a song that's used for the edit that we post in the edits thread? Fair enough, but then how do we let people know which song mp3 they need to be able to play a edit?

  3. By providing the name or a legal link.
Also there is no problem in posting links for YouTube gameplay.

  4. providing the name? with all versions you can find it's a tricky one.

  5. You can try to give a link to vocadb.net, if the song is in their database or put the links you have in the youtube description of your gameplay of the edit.

  6. You could use a legally obtained file and just link to where you got it. Granted, this would be a problem for older edits that might use illegally obtained files for their music, but it should be simple enough to do in the future.

  7. a lot of the vocaloid artists provide free download links if you watch their original nico videos, usually linked to their piapro account
most of the times you don't even need to pirate it ;d
