I think a kind of this topic might be good ^^ So here we could post our experience, information, differences of the games, which could be added for the wiki. Actually game is already out but release date is still 10th November. I am going to write in the afternoon/evening (my time) some information to Extend. Note: If you don't want to be spoiled till you can play yourself, then please don't read further! (is there a spoiler option? o.o)
currently unloacked 30% of the songlist. i'll prepare some new wiki pages later to list everything and write how to unlock modules and stuff. (for example: racing miku 2011 ver will be unlocked if you complete a song on EXTREME or play 100 songs with miku)
Well, here some information for starting PD Extend: Importing Pd2nd Data You'll recieve all Module, DIVA Points, which you have gained in PD2nd and title? (not sure though). If you own DLC songs, your PD2nd highscore will be saved as well in extra category! DLC, how to unlock it Go to option menu, last option. Then a new interface appears with all option, which loads from your DLC File. You can unlock all DLC, which has been released in PD2nd! As well Idolmaster Songs, Module and Kasane Teto. DLC song, which appears in Main Category Somehow ... this make DLC's actually worthless, because in the main category, songs like Hoshikuzu Utopia, Time Limit, etc. they have the same patterns as the PD2nd DLC. For Game: Challange Items and what they do First Challange item (3000 DIVA Points) only accept COOL & FINE, everything else will be automatically count as WORST. You gain 2x Diva points when you clear a song. 2nd Challange item (5000 DIVA Points) won't increase your HP. It can only be decreased. Your lost HP won't increase as well. You gain 4x DIVA Points wehen you clear a song.
Already noted on the wikipages "Changed in Extend" and added to "List of Modules (Extend)" as hint. It's more import than unlock (like converting edit play data from 1st to 2nd). I'll add this to their pages (module list, song list & room acessory list) later. in addition i may add an own wiki tutorial page for it (like i did with converting edit play data from project diva 1st to 2nd) Thanks, I'll add them to the wiki later.
Hi, thanks for keeping us in the loop with this information. Does edit mode now support 6/4 and 8/4 notes or is it the same as before, with the maximum being 4/4?
i haven't try it out yet. i just saw that the edit mode has a new submenu in the main menu. after choosing edit mode three modes will appear. one of them will be the editor, one is the edit play mode and the last one is the PV watch mode. in the editor there are options to import pjd and pjd2nd edit play files into pjd extend. EDIT: available are 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4.
Free Play Choosing song O for select X for Back Square for Demo Track Triangle for watch PV L for Item selection R for changing Module START for using default character (message appears, above picture, "SET" appears) Note: only use Original Modules! Unlocking Songs: Clear a song in Easy or Normal If you clear a song with Help Item... It will be marked with a pink crown. It means you cleared a song with a Help Item.
unlocked all songs and credits. after completing the credits (with hatchune minigame) you'll also unlock the 2nd & Extend OP in a DUBBED VERSION! Miku & Rin's voices are the female voices of the Project DIVA commercials by SEGA.
found out that DLC modules from PJD2nd that are included in PJDe aren't completely useless. aside from having the modules unlocked from start, they also allow for same-module duets. normally it's impossible to have the same module in both character slots, but DLC modules and their PJDe version are considered different modules despite being exactly the same. this means you can for example have a duet with 2x miku append.
That sounds terrific. I will need some subs for those videos and the Sekiranun Graffiti OP. Crap, i cant wait to my copy coming home for tomorrow. I've seen the Rolling Girl PV and BLEW MY MIND.
Do you need PD2 to buy the DLC to import into PDe or can you just grab it off the PSN Store and import it directly?

F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! My copy game arrived today after a delay (shipped day 9 and asked for 6 days arrival). Now i have to pay 25€ extra because ofcustoms... Bad point to CD-Japan... Never happened to me before y two years importing mucho more expensive things (huge boxes with 125€ value). I can't wait any longer... Hope that songs as Rolling Girl and Musnde Hiraite are well done as playabe songs... Because the wait this game has become a nightmare.
I just missed the postman while i was on work. Anyway, just ordered a second-try-delivery on monday between 5 and 10pm and i have to pay 10,95 euros for customs.
Mine arrived from Play-Asia on Friday. Had to pay £27 for VAT. My AmiAmi order with pre-order bonus is expected to arrive Monday and that cost £25. So altogether, almost £55 for both of them. Seems I will have a very empty wallet this month. But it's worth it since I can play Extend.
