I'm seriously having an issue with buying DLC for Project Diva 2nd. I was trying to get "Disappearance of Hatsune Miku", and I have ¥1,100 in my account. However when I try to buy it I keep getting a message, and I have no idea what it says. I'm also not sure how to put in a picture since I'm on a phone. >.<

Could it be that you don't have enough room for it on your memory stick? That's all I could think of at the moment, sorry! :(

I deleted a whole bunch of things, but this message keeps appearing. I made sure there's plenty of room on my memory card too. I think my PSP just hates me. ._.

Were you already charged? And have you bought dlc for PJD2nd before? The last time I did was over a year ago and I don't remember the process much, but I don't remember having any troubles. Hopefully someone else will know what the problem is.

I wasn't charged for anything. I get to the shopping cart, and try to buy it, but nothing happens.

I have no idea if this is the problem or not, but if you use multiple accounts on your PSP, did you activate the PSP using your Japanese account? If it's not activated to the account that you're trying to use content for, you can run into a lot of problems. In case you don't remember, you can do that through the account settings on a PS3. I forget how to do it on the PSP, if you can at all. I would think you can. Probably through the same menu.

I had two Japanese accounts, but I removed my first one. I put in the second account on my PSP and Vita. Buying Project Diva f DLC ,with the current account I have on both my PSP and Vita, worked fine. Its just the PSP I have a problem with.

Just make sure it's activated. It's not enough to simply be logged in.

You'll just have to try activating it and see if it gives you the option. If it does, it's not activated. If it doesn't, it's activated.

If I recall, there should be an activate option under account management. Of course it might be in Japanese katakana text since the last time I moved my memory stick to a brand new PSP for PD2nd was over two years ago.

Ok so I found out that one of my old accounts never got deactivated so I can't activate the one I use now.

You can only have one system activated at a time on PSP, so it should automatically overwrite whichever one is there when you choose to do it.

It doesn't overwrite the other one at all. ._.

i'm not sure if trying to restore your psp to default will clear the saved activation or not. And sony only allows up to 2 systems to be activated with one account so idk if you have it on a ps3 or not as well as your vita.

Hmm.....have you tried the PS3 method? Download on your PS3, then transfer it to PSP and let it activate for you?

We never really covered the steps here, but this is what you need to be doing, if you're not.

In that last step, you have to choose Game to activate the content. It should overwrite whichever account is currently set on the PSP.

If that's not working, then yeah, try the PS3 method if you have a PS3.

I can definitely try the PS3 method. If it works I'llbe sure here, and say so. Thanks for the tips though. ^_^
