I've only played the Vita version so even though it is now an option I don't think I'd use the analog sticks but... how on earth would that work with analog? D:
Actually, that's not true, you are allowed to lift your finger in-between stars. The point is just to get the stars and complete the pattern the lines make, and you build the bonus with each star but reset the bonus counter (and don't get the cool pattern afterwards!) if you miss one. There's no extra bonus for keeping the finger on the screen, only for combo building. I just tried it in the demo, no difference in bonus points, only depending on if you get a Fine or Cool :3 I'm glad to hear you can use the analogue sticks, since it's really easy to fail the double stars with the touch screen (at least for me it is xP), but I'm also a little scared since I've never really used the sticks on the Vita before :P It might be equally annoying to use them but it's awesome that the choice exists! I think that review-thingy said they're announcing the last songs next week, but it's fine since Famitsu is released before the game. A lot of people are probably really impatient with news concerning these final songs but I'm not x) Odds are I've never heard them before, I only discover songs through the games or concerts. Fun fact: I was upset with it at first, but if they hadn't moved the release date I would've most likely failed my Kanji exam x) I didn't really study properly for it but the magic of last-minute studying saved me! I'm awaiting the results eagerly.
Whoops, thanks for correcting me. I coulda sworn you had to keep your finger on the screen xD Maybe a better name for them would've been combo scratch or something.
Im all up for using the analog, i didnt mind doing the simple scratch notes on rear touch pad but these new scratch ones can turn out annoying for me so i say bless those analog support LMAO
Why would they delay it again when a Launch event with the "Dance with PS Vita" campaign is being held there?
I think all of us here are hyped enough after the first delay. Any more delays now would just be torture, haha. Though it's also a little torturous waiting to find out what those last two songs are.
To have a third launch event, after Matsuri da Diva & the Dance with PS Vita. Maybe the game will be finally released with the Magical Mirai 2014 concerts (august and september) . LOL
5 days left* i have a weird feeling lol... xDxD There might be a 1 day delay though, since a friend pre-ordered it 25 days ago on amazon.jp and estimate shipment was 28 to 30.
In some ways I'm kind of disappointed because I picked the longer shipping method so I'll be getting it much later but at the same time it wouldn't make much difference, I still don't have the system to play it on anyway. Oh well, it's exciting because the time is getting closer and closer by each day. I've been trying to remain in the dark about the game as much as I can but I have a feeling that I'm going to be peering into that shadow as time rolls on eventually. I really want to take a look at the videos once people start posting game-play of their own online and of course reading things here more often than I have.
Speaking of shipping methods, should I choose FedEx or EMS for faster shipping? FedEx is only higher by a little.
I haven't had any experiences with FedEx, but EMS is generally very fast and I've never had any problems with it. It's what I'll be using for F2nd.
I always had good experience with EMS over the years. Shipping from Japan to US. There were many shipments where it would arrive to me just a few days after it shipped out! That is likely your best bet. In the case of this game: I am buying the digital version. So I will be purchasing it on the PSN Store on Thursday evening. It should definitely be ready to go by then, since Japan is 14 hours ahead (and I will not be home from work until the evening.) I REALLY wish I could take off work Friday for the game, haha. But there is no way. -_-;; The weekend will be a marathon of F-2nd playing, though.
The only time I ever order anything with EMS shipping is if it's a gift for someone but I've had good experience with that method as well. Usually I prefer to go with the cheapest shipping method possible if it's just something for me.
I'll probably just go with FedEx, since it's not that much more higher, and someone told me FedEx is 1-2 days while EMS is 2-4 days.
