Has anyone perfected either Gekishou or 2D Dream Fever? Just wondering though :\ Spoiler Tried to get at least great in 2D Dream Fever but found myself retrying the song over 10 times in a row and ended up got standard... I guess I can't master 10.0 at all...
Maybe someday I might get somewhere close to perfecting Gekishou, but 2D Dream Fever is completely out of my league.
Somehow I'm not sure about both :\ I was able to get excellent back in NegaPosi coz there's not rapid spamming. It sure made me go "table-flip" just seeing myself get standard on Gekishou or 2D Dream Fever.
I've still only stardard'd Geki and Dream Fever, and neither of those were on my first tries. ;_; Gekishou is the easier one of the two, I'd say. The first technical zone is practically a freebie, and Chance Time is much simpler. Meanwhile, Dream Fever is all over the place, all the time, and I often find myself struggling to keep up. I dunno what people are talking about when they say these two are a step down from SMF and NegaPosi, tbh. Those two were much easier.
Agreed. Though I almost got excellent on SMF but highest percentage was... Spoiler 94.9% Imo, NegaPosi's hard due to the high bpm and complex patterns. But with practice, it should be easier to master. As for SMF, it requires good sense of timing and usage of left finger, especially the finishing :\ Oh well, I guess it's a good idea if I play hard a few times. Imo, passing a 10.0 is pro enough. It takes time for one to pass it. Believe it or not, I cleared SMF over 90 times and yet Its still G.
I've perfected both, gekishou was merciful but 2d dream fever is a beast. I found F 2nds 10 stars way easier to perfect than Fs for some reason (^_^;) The only song I just can't get is musunde hiraite rasetsu to mukuro, I can nail the second tech zone, but not the chance time spams ;_;
<<< Was able to hit all notes in CT in Musunde...ONCE I don't even know how was I able to hit all notes in the CT ._. Perhaps 10.0 in f 2nd was easier due to lesser insane spamming. Rather, they seem to make more complicated patterns with small combination of rapid.
I haven't perfected either quite yet but I have excellents on both, at least. In Chance Time, just hold down the arrow for the double notes and use one hand to hit the rest of the notes in the sequence... Sorry for my bad explanation, hopefully it will help a little ;w;
Maybe song difficulty varies by player. I suggest to open a pool. In my case, Gekishou, because speed + high BPM.
How could you perfect that song??? ;-; and even with Cool Master S ;-; and Fine below 10% of total notes???
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-NIYl2PWRg i didn't do this (i dont even have my game yet T_T) but this video was uploaded on the 27th of march... so either this person is a time traveler or they have WAY too much skill...
It takes about 3.5 hours to complete Normal, to unlock Hard. Takes less than 3 minutes to play Gekishou Hard to unlock Extreme. Spam Extreme till Perfect. So minimum 3 hours 50 minutes. Not that difficult (hell, I got my game the day it came out).
would take me ages to get anywhere in the game because i'll be distracted by every little thing and always be like "wat da hell does that say???" and "ooh! did i unlock something shiny?" "ooh shiny new stuffs!" i cant wait to get my game, only have to wait about another 3 weeks.... why.....
I perfected Gekishou after 70 tries, in which 1-safe play is more than 10 times >.<. Not yet on 2D, I'm having problem with the ↑ ← ↓ → ↑ part.
You're a beast as usual. I'm stil perfecting everything on hard. Then on to extreme. All of my attempts on 2DDF so far has been off by two notes (2 safe, 1 safe and 1 worse, etc.) because of that 2nd technical zone. I can't get the hang of pressing the consecutive right arrows yet.
I just realized Micro Note can be handy for extreme. The notes are smaller, but it makes it easier to see those rapid. I find it allows me to count how many times I have to press so I can prepare myself for the next one. EDIT: I KNEW IT!!! MICRO NOTES ARE HANDY AND I GOT GREAT ON 2D DREAM FEVER THANKS TO MICRO NOTES
