[c][/c] For those who never thought Project DIVA would come to America or Europe (including myself), there is a light of hope on the horizon! SEGA has just announced on their PD Twitter that the demo of PDf, which was first shown at the Nico Nico Chokaigi Event, is playable at the Sony Computer Entertainment America booth at the Electronic Entertainment Expo! One of the persons operating the Twitter account and official site, nicknaming himself 2号 (No. 2), has been taking pictures and collectin opinions. He says Miku seemed very popular in LA. [c][/c] [c][/c] [c][/c] Here's a gameplay video. It has bad quality, but you can see two new thing. First, the vocals stop when the player is doing bad - a feature returning from the first Project DIVA. Also, in the Song Select screen, the characters are labeled as "Vocal", not "Module" or "Character". Does this mean that, like in Project mirai, the singer changes depending on the character? [c][/c] Also we have a cover for you. [c][/c] Sources: Official Site, Official Twitter, Official Site
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) As good news as this is, I doubt they will release F in other regions, but maybe future releases of their games. I read somewhere that someone tweeted to a SEGA dev about availability of PDf in Non-Asian regions and they said something along the lines of "Sorry, it wouldn't be released." However, there is a glimmer of hope that it could be released overseas. It could just be the same kind of location test they had done with Project Diva Arcade though.
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) O u O Project Diva F got rated C(+15), PD,PD2nd and PDExt were rated B(+12) and Mirai was rated A(All ages)... Could this mean something?
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) I think this shows they are well aware they have fanbase elsewhere but it is only advertising to increase exports of the games. I would not get any hopes up because the C rating is still pretty mild and most likely from more serious songs and the kind of AR going on bumped it to a C rating from the B or least that is my thoughts on it.
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) Here is a link to someone playing the Tech Demo at E3 :) http://youtu.be/KKUj1ni16sQ
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAH. Spam everywhere, Repand Miku to the Whole World ! o/
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) Something I noticed: a) The Song Select says "Vocal 1" and "Vocal 2", not "Module" or something. Will the songs really have different singers? b) Vocals stop for a split-second at 2:04. Yep, it's back.
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) That Happens in Dreamy theater 2nd, but you can turn that off in the options so it never cuts out when you miss. Maybe you already know this anyway :)
Re: PDf playable at E3! (also, the cover) Perfect! Now we just need to find a way to extract the audio files from the game card then we have all new off vocals & acapellas
I little bit to add, Project Dvia f is shown in the english PSVita games reel that playstaion uploaded to their youtube. Surely that's a sign that they are bringing it over here :) You can see a small glimpse at about 0:07 in. Then later you get a few seconds of gameplay shown at about 1:40. http://youtu.be/1fEX9-LR9tg It would seem weird to me if they advertised it as a game to help sell vita if they arn't planning to bring it over :D hope they don't crush my hopes!
A Gametrailers gameplay vid, this time, you'll see what the normal ending of Worlds End Dancehall looks like.
there is really only 2 possibilities if you think about it it would either go by score or difficulty lvl and i fear it may be difficulty lvl so i will never see the true ending to this xD and i am just wondering how they are gonna handle this issue when you watch PV as to which ending you see :/
If you fill up the Star Gauge in the CHANCE TIME completely, you get the good ending. Otherwise you get the normal ending. So, just hit as much notes in CHANCE TIME as needed until the star gauge is full.
Actually, keep the star gauge filled up till the end of Chance Time, where you supposed to hit that big star at the EXACT time (a least COOL) to play the alternate ending. See that video up there? He got a FINE there, so you'll still see the normal ending.
