Although I’m not very certain we will see a Season 3: I can see what to and not expect if that was the case. https://projectdiva.net/community/t...on-future-tone’s-final-songs.2326/#post-17893 This doesn’t include the majority of Project DIVA X’s non-medley tracks, Project Mirai DX’s non-GUMI tracks, etc.
Hey look, Somebody made a larger PCH-1000 for $349.99 USD releasing the same day as Metroid Dread: https://www.nintendo.com/switch/oled-model/ Just kidding; it’s just the ‘Nintendo Switch (OLED model)’ & no, there isn’t anything about 4K or enhanced performance anywhere. It’s just the following: 7 inch 720p OLED screen Wider adjustable built-in stand (think Nintendo Switch Adjustable Charging Stand, but bigger, and built right in) ‘Enhanced Audio’ (presumably better speakers) 64 GB Internal Storage Includes ‘Nintendo Switch dock with LAN port’ (which is what it’s officially called) Compatible with all games, and Joy-Con Nintendo Labo Toy-Con could be a different story Considering the Switch sold more units than the GBA, they are in no position to just drop a more powerful model without alienating both customers and developers. I’ll give the successor with supposedly more power another 6 years. (2027)
nintendo has logic of toy-maker, but not consoles: if toy sells well - no reason to make it much better as it is, but only slightly changes to satisfy minor of aspects that user do not like: someone do not like small LCD screen - here, take little bigger OLED screen, someone didn't like bad battery - here, buy new console with better battery, someone don't like that switch big and inconvenient - here, take smaller but still inconvenient switch lite, someone cannot play on switch at all - here, buy overpriced and the worst controller on the market "pro-controller" and so on.. So sometimes I think that nintendo deliberately includes lays down flaws into their products to use their toy-maker logic to make many other models, because I see no reason to not make it much better from the start because maybe someone remember PSVita-1000 and it has everything and much better in case of usage (including OLED display) then switch. And that is why goofs satisfied users of nintendo switch usually has 2-3 and more nintendo switches. And here I haven't yet taken into account bastard pricing politics on their games (in region where I live, for example, but there are rumors, that in china games are much cheaper), primarily because of which I do not want to mess with Nintendo. And that's after 5 years. Amazing. Disgaea 6 already has graphics settings in game, but switch cannot hold GRAPHICS mode. So, as someone says, most likely, developers already has dev-kits of new switch.
I don't care about 4K or OLED. I was hoping for faster CPU/GPU to reduce the slow loading time for MegaMix songs. Oh well, maybe in a few more years.
That's what I'm talking about above :) Because someone looks to play on it with more hardware, because mostly every phone now much better then switch in every case, but still price obscenely high, so better to take new phone, then to use it.
Now that Steam has announced their handheld Steam Deck, perhaps Nintendo will reconsider a more powerful Switch. Demand is so high, Steam's servers crashed. It does not play Nintendo games but Steam games. The cheapest model is $400. https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck
I don’t know, with today’s current chip shortage, this being the 3rd PC-based system touted as the ‘Nintendo Switch Killer (GPD Win 3, and Alienware UFO being two), the Switch being the US’s best selling console in the last 2.5 years, Nintendo’s hardware philosophy about lateral thinking with withered technologies, not the bleeding edge of technology, alongside Valve’s track-record with Steam Link, Steam Box and THAT, I don’t think you should get your hopes up. I don’t think this is going to make Nintendo suddenly announce and release a system with more power just to run a handful of games. (They tried, people didn’t care at the end of the day.)
Yeah, many of that in hardware way were not successful, but that's even more interesting because at first 1) nothing from that work were not wasted, because it can be used now and many from that finalized, at second 2) mistakes were taken into account (as I can see). And considering that fact that in steam I already has hundred of games and no need to buy something, I, if you put me in front of a choice between switch and deck - will choose deck, because I know what I can do with that and I can do with that EVERYTHING and that was first time when i saw something like that and I said "I want it". That fact that GPD Win 3 and Alienware UFO (not even heared about it before) are not Nintendo Switch killers with no doubt because at first it's a shit and at second it's an expensive shit. Steam Deck momentarily, at the snap of fingers made different opinion with much more clear understanding what it will be and for what exactly you have to pay for. And I do not think that it will be a nintendo switch killer, I'm not interested in killing nintendo switch, but it will be a good device for sure, I'm interested in good device. Nothing surprising.
Deck is interesting for power users but I doubt it interests most Switch users. Same as Tesla will never crush GM but it has enough customers to create a niche. I like and support companies that innovate though I cannot afford to buy a Tesla. I can, however, afford to buy a Deck. I also like that the Deck can run Windows if SteamOS does not work out. Unlike the Switch which locked to running Nintendo firmware. I am aware there are hardware mods that ... but this not the board for those kinds of topics.
Indication that a Hatsune Miku 15th anniversary Project DIVA game will be Switch-exclusive: Switch ate Japan’s Top 30. last time that happened was in 1988 with the Famicom. Not only that, but It’s still the US’s best selling system, in both Units and Dollar sales Me thinks SONY Miku’ed when they shouldn’t of Miku’ed, and PS5 is Doomed in Japan because of it.
Very simple: Sekai is the next gen miku game Sekai is a phone game Out of all current gen consoles only Switch is a phone The answer is obvious.
I wouldn’t say that… “Excuse me for the Tweet that took the lead in the heat of last night's Project Sekai briefing session. After one month of launch, the project is being recognized by senior executives of each company, including Mr. Sega, as a project that is proceeding well. In this, we will continue to make proposals considering the possibility of revitalizing the entire series.”
To managements' eyes, a phone game being successful means it works as a phone game. They're probably just gonna make more phone games (or milk it hard). Let's hope that this is not the case.
I don't understand, what is 15th anniversary Project DIVA game? New announce or how? Yes, because it's the only actual system with no deficit in shops. I can't say that there was something other if there was no deficit of PS5 and new Xbox, but at this moment it's a fact. PS5 doomed everywhere - it's useless system with no future. Before I was somewhere around playstation-fan, but when PS5 released I understand that there is nothing to do with it anymore. Maybe something will change, but now I do not see any prospects. Totally true
I mean’t for Hatsune Miku’s overall 15th Anniversary next year. Which I guess would make sense with the lack of any significant update for the Arcade games, (Future Tone & Mega Mix included) and SEGA willing to jump in on such occasions. Were talking about a publisher that had the cajones to announce a Super Monkey Ball remake 2 years after another one because it’s for the series’s 20th anniversary.
We'll see. Some years ago, maybe in 2019, was the 10 year anniversary of Project Diva at all and I do not really remember something great about that, I mean there was nothing to emphasize this very fact. Maybe you know, so you can correct me, so I really not expecting anything at all.
Project DIVA F was released around Miku’s overall 5th anniversary. & there was the time Future Tone and it’s DLC was printed on Blu-Ray, touted as DX, and was released in Japan in time for Miku’s overall 10th anniversary.
Formally, something was, but no so great. So if there will be something interesting - it'll be great.
