Update Version 1.0.4 is coming April 30th, now with touch controls, putting it next Project Mirai 2 & DX on 3DS for having such a feature. Now get a near-Arcade Future Tone perfect experience without shelling out for controllers, or becoming looking like Masochist next to Hisokeee with an NES controller.
Yea pretty much what I would expect. Could be a RAM bandwidth issue or SEGA didn't use the "loading mode"? The latter is certainly fixable if they try but the former won't. Um one small question: How do you do double swipes during a quad hold? Also is it just me or the overlay looks off the place :S
I mean switch only does 5 points unlike 10 on most phones and doing double swipes during quad hold requires 6 points (unless you wish to drop hold ofc).
Stewie strikes again. Spoiler: Possible Datamine/Leek https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https://www.facebook.com/ProjectDIVAWiki/posts/2985646628145814&width=500
Not lying; clearly, the game is a hit. (as of 5/27/2020) SALES: Overall - #12 Download-only: #3 METACRITIC SCORE: 80% https://www.metacritic.com/game/switch/hatsune-miku-project-diva-megamix
New information about Project DIVA MegaMix is coming next Wednesday at 4AM PST, all in a livestream starring both Saki Fujita (Hatsune Miku‘s voice provider) and Yuki Nakashima. (the voice of Shiho, a character from Project Sekai) What is to be in this announcement (like everything I talked about during the lead-up before this game’s reveal and release) is probably something big, or not; I’m making sure my expectations are in check. Going over the possibilities, but mostly unrealistic, pie-in-the-sky dreams of mine: More DLC, with not just more from Future Tone, but songs from the ill-represented Project DIVA X, and some all-new additions. probably more than the expected Season 2. The Survival Courses from Future Tone, but with an option to create your own line-up and share it with people online. The ability to share T-shirts online. adjustments to PVs that would in-theory make them work better with the game’s artstyle. I’m not holding my breath. The return of DIVA ROOM, but locked behind a free-to-start game requiring amiibo. The amiibo are made in collaboration with Good Smile Company. The amiibo themselves are essentially Nenderoid figure bases including the respective Nenderoid figure of that character. Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, MEIKO, & KAITO are in the line-up. The game uses the visuals from the Project Mirai Series, and is on the level of Project DIVA F/F2nd’s version of the mode. The game connects to MegaMix save data to keep track of Modules and VP. Again; pie-in-the-sky dream. Regardless, they must of had been seeing serious ¥/$/€ signs in their eyes, and want to support this game as much, as much as possible.
Or: Project DIVA Mega 39's DX, now with all FT songs for only $69.99. And save for later: Project DIVA Mega 39's DX HD for PS5, now with solid 0 loading time, cel/regular shader switching, 8k resolution @ 120FPS with HDR (or 1080p @120FPS with ray tracing) and all M39DX songs+2 new songs/PVs from Project Sekai. (jk (Still won't buy it if they didn't fix the slider. It's getting more and more annoying for me D:)
And no info about PS4 release for the new songs? :S Also where's my US release? (Seems that they again invited people who don't know how to play the game to do the new song demo. I mean come on aren't they transitioning to gameplay-first instead of PV-first like every other SEGA rhythm games?)
Wait did I see (faster than?) PS4 filling speed? @Zac Wood what do you think? Did I miss something terribly obvious?
Not really seeing a difference, because I usually use the right stick for slide notes. How much of a difference is it?
Actually it could be simply pushing both sticks at the same time (or one stick and a macro button). At least for tsubasata (see my profile post) he got videos with mixed speeds. (see below and the chain slide after. There is an obvious speed difference) That's a strong indication of manually pushing both sticks to the same direction during chain slides. Although that can't really explain the new video (at least I didn't see the girl pushing both sticks. Could still be macro keys though). Did SEGA have more patches to share with us?
Ironically I am able to get the PS speed OOTB on US retail version 1.0.1. Did they actually patch this at some point but locked the old players (savegames) on the really slow slider speed? Or is the fast speed US-exclusive? And yes thx to you-know-what I decided to cancel the bargain bin hunting plan and just buy the cheaper US release. Call me loser :S EDIT: Even recent hisokeee videos now have PS speed. I think the slider change in JP 1.0.4 actually did what I've been waiting for since last year's TGS. I guess it's a happy accident caused by the touch mode slider being not replicating the actual slider behavior and having the slow speed actually hurts the gameplay but I'll happily take it :D
Suprise to Western players: Season 2 is now available. The SEGA Pack is available for $5.99 though, in spite it being free in Japan. https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/hatsune-miku-project-diva-mega-mix-switch/ Forget about the songs missing from this game from Future Tone. Here’s a song that’s straight up unused from that game starring Luka based on Galaxy Force.
The last 14 songs have also been leaked: Spoiler: ‘Leeked’ Data Last Night, Good Night, KZ Livetune Marginal, OSTER Project Grumpy Waltz, OSTER Project Finder (DSLR remix - re:edit), KZ Livetune Sound, baker Stardust Utopia, otesu Paris Cinema Girl, apfel mote Leia, Yuyoyuppe Promise, Samfree (gone for 5 years now) Adolescence, Dios (Signal-P) Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!, daniwell (aka Miku sing Nya for 3 minutes) Stay with me, Shu-T Dramaturgy, ??? Green Lights Serenade, Omoi
So you are telling me that it takes us another $72 (~$62 when using season pass) to rebuy future tone plus up to totally 27 "poorly charted" new songs? That's so absurd it's officially EA tier D: And Japanese people also pay more and can't wait to see SEGA removing features from US release like they did with Future Tone (urgh) And no it's not just project diva. I hate this when other companies do that as well. That's one of the reason why I don't play taiko and groove coaster (the other being I suck). (Well I guess $152 isn't that bad when you count the lows that with DLCs that stack up to 300+ and also normally on "crazy sale". Those are like giving away $1000 off coupons that only work on luxury cars :S) (BTW here comes the scary part: I started to get used to joycons)
