    You forgot the o inte åttio, otherwise correct :P You can say åtti but I don't recommend it to newbies, it's slang (granted no one says åttio or trettio or fyrtio in everyday language, the o disappears by default, but it's the "correct" way to write it that way since it's "tio" as is "ten")

    二百八十八 in Chinese is pronounced「èr bǎi bā shí bā」

    Lucy is the common name of AL 288-1, several hundred pieces of bone representing about 40% of the skeleton of a female Australopithecus afarensis. It was discovered in 1974 at Hadar in the Awash Valley of Ethiopia's Afar Depression. In paleoanthropology, usually only fossil fragments are found, and only rarely are skulls or ribs uncovered intact; thus this discovery was an astounding feat that provided an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence. Lucy is estimated to have lived 3.2 million years ago, and is classified as a hominid.

    United Airlines Flight 297, a Vickers Viscount 745D, was a scheduled flight from Newark International Airport (EWR/KEWR) in Newark, New Jersey to Washington, D.C. with 17 people on board.
    On November 23, 1962 at approximately 12:24 P.M. EDT, it crashed just northwest of what is now Columbia, Maryland after striking a flock of whistling swans while cruising at 6,000 feet (1,800 m). The bird strike caused the horizontal stabilizer to separate, leading to loss of control and the crash which killed all on board. The crew were Captain Milton J. Balog, Copilot Robert J. Lewis, and Stewardesses Mary Kathryn Kline and Kaaren G. Brent. Captain Balog had been with Capital Airlines, which had operated Viscount N7430 (s/n 128) prior to Capital's merger with United.

    I tried to search 297 on Yahoo Images but apparently SafeSearch was off so nearly half the results were porn pictures O_o
    What is it with 297 and porn :(

    Northwest Airlines Flight 1482 was a flight scheduled from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport to Pittsburgh International Airport. On 3 December 1990 a Douglas DC-9-14 commercial jet operated for the route taxied on to the active runway by mistake in dense fog and was hit by a departing Boeing 727 operating Northwest Airlines Flight 299 to Memphis. One crew and seven occupants of the DC-9 were killed.
