I'm new about using Dreamy Theater on PS3 but i have search the whole threads but i can't find specific information about how do you install Dreamy Theater on it. I found information on wiki about how to enable language packs and stuff by modifying files directly to the installation path on the PS3. My PS3 is not modded then there's no way to install any application without the store. I have the Project diva UMD's so i think i'm able to activate by downloading the game from the PS store. As far i know Dreamy theater is not an standalone application, PSP is required to play? TL,DR. What is the best-easiest way to play Dreamy theater? 1.- Using a Moded PS3 and load the game downloaded from a torrent 2.- Buying a JPY PSN card and downloading directly from store If the case is this last one how do i activate or in which way is the PSP required, Is only required for transfer the savedata? Sorry about my grammar after all you get the idea. Nekoi-
Get Dreamy Theater 2nd or Extend. These titles only requires the PSP when using for the first time, unlike the first one where it requires the PSP every time you launch the game. If you purchase a DT game, you see that PSP app is also available to download. That's where you use it to launch the game and import save datas and edit datas. But I assure you, this site doesn't support illegal game downloads, yeah, torrents too.
Project diva extend is avaible on the japanese PSN and is compatible with the PS vita. However, it's good to know that the psp program to activate dreamy theater extend is ONLY compatible with the PSP. If you have played project diva extend on your psvita, you need to install it on a psp with the same account as your ps3 and activate it from the psp. It mean that you can't bring your ps vita savegame / editplay... to your ps3. Actually, i have activated my dreamy theater extend by my psp but i don't find a way to transfer my vita savegame yet so i need to unlock all the modules/songs... again on the ps3. It's a luck i keep my psp. If you have only a vita, don't try to buy dreamy theater, you can't activate it.
you don't even need any game UMD on the psp, only a savegame of the games, which are made on THIS psp. (using other's savegames won't work!) and like mentioned before, i suggest you to use the second method and buy the game from the store to support SEGA's PJD-team. we don't support illegal copies of the games.
I have bought all the games legally on the japanese playstation network and i find a way to activate the game after playing on vita. You can tranfer your savegames from your ps vita to a computer by the program include on the PS vita. After, you need to copy the project diva savegame directory on your psp. If your ps vita and your psp are on the same account (with japanese PSN), you can install the game on the two system and the savegames will be compatible. (i don't know if the PSN version of project diva is compatible with the umd version.) After, you can import them on dreamy theater extend on ps3 (i needed to launch the game on the psp and made a new save from here but it keep all my unlocked items. When i tried to make the transfer without saving ingame before, i had an error message, i don't know if it's normal) I'm agree with the administrator, we must support Miku by legaly buying the game to have a chance to have more great games in the future. Don't make illegal copies, this game worth is price.
