Well that was quite some time ago when I posted that, I'm not too sure what the stocking numbers are now.
I have been playing with the big one for days. ITS GREAT! the closest thing possible to the arcade feeling at home.
PDF Mini Controller on sale at Amazon.co.jp With the Yen doing horrible in the past 6 months it's almost on par with the Canadian dollar (woo go Canada!) and the controller on amazon.co.jp is only 88,00Y now http://www.amazon.co.jp/【Amazon-co-...qid=1367090591&sr=8-5&keywords=project+diva+f If the link doesn't work due to Japanese being in the URL you can just search it obviously. The best thing is if you have a friend in Japan it's FREE next day shipping (Japan and Korea being so small, shipping usually doesn't take longer than one day). I'm just fortunate my GF is going back to Japan for a week so she had it shipped to her parents place, and it's almost an Amazon exclusive colour, white! At least I believe I heard that somewhere.
Sorry for the terribly late response. I've been really busy. Personally, I like them both. The HP3-939 gives me that great arcade feel. The buttons are very responsive and I just love the craftsmanship HORI put into this controller. The mini controller is fun to use, as well. Besides the whole "arcade feel" comment, everything else I said applies to this one, too. I like how comfortable the mini controller feels. It feels as natural as using a fight stick. The moment I started using the mini, it was second nature. My only gripe is that the buttons for the HP3-939 can be a little loud when pressed. If I can find some possible way to dampen the sound, I'll be sure to share it with the rest of the community. Overall, They are both fine controllers.
For the HP3-939, I missed my chance to acquire one the first time around. But boy, was I happy when HORI announce a second production run. I wasn't going to let this chance pass me up.
