News Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone

Oh I've just started downloading and it shows FT 3.159gb to me. Nice to know the full size is around 12gb.

Btw the two themes are ready for downloading too.

i checked my theme selection, it shows both themes but it gives you the same countdown as the game itself
i think it just downloaded as 2 add-ons

 

You can play when the cd is over, that's how a pre-order DL game works and it's always at 12am JP time on release date. Diva X for Vita, for example, didn't have a pre-order session in store so it was only available when the store had been updated, which was in Jp noon time.

Wait we can already download the game? :o then the ps4 needs to stay on for two days or what? Are we able to watch Tv while it's downloading? (I'm a noob when it comes to PS4 Future tone is the first game I will download) x)

 

If you pre-ordered you can just turn your PS4 on and it will start downloading, if you checked the "Auto-Download" checkbox, which should be checked by default. If you have your PS4 in rest-mode (the light-bar on the console is orange), and your power save settings are set to stay connected to the internet while in rest mode, it will already have started downloading. As soon as it's finished, you can turn the console off, until you can play it, which is on the 22nd 7 PM Central European time (midnight on the 23rd Japan time)

 

Okay I get it ^^ will the ps4 put itself on rest mode or do you do it manually?

Edit: Never mind it appeared as an option when I choosed to turn the system off xD but I guess I can't turn off the Tv right?

 

Downloading the games now! :D I wait with the themes and download them once the games are finished, so excited for this!! :D

 

You can turn off your TV all you like. As long as the PS4 stays powered it's gonna keep downloading.

Slightly unrelated, but I'm so bored of X already. Slow grinding for the Friendship trophies. Only have Miku and Luka while working on Len. I quit.

Just to while the time, I want to ask you all, what's the first song you'll play once you start the game? I'm going for World Is Mine because it's the very first song that started the Project DIVA series. It's kind of "symbolic" for me. How about you? :)

 

I'm honestly probably just gonna press random and see what happens.

 

Honestly, I'm looking forward to booting up the game and playing any non-PSP/Vita songs. I never got a chance to play mirai/arcade so maybe one of those first. BEFORE THAT, I'll be messing with the head+body swap function with MEIKO like craaaaaazzyyy.

 

Since a JPN PSN account will be needed to download Future Tone, would there be a way to use a non JPN PSN account to play Future Tone after it's been downloaded? Or would it only be playable on the JPN PSN account?

Also, if I ever do get the chance to play Future Tone, first song I would play would most likely be Unrequisted Love Samba.

 

Once a game or app is installed on the PS4, you can use any account to play it. Only the purchasing requires you to be on the appropriate region account.

 

I see. I guess that means I'll be making a JPN account for sure once I get my PS4.

 

Honestly, since I'm gonna marathon through the Hard charts as fast as I can anyway, so I have Extreme ready for my stream on Friday, I'll just start with whichever song is first in the List.
