In some european countries the licensing rules are very strict. In my case in Germany our licensing rules are one of the most strict ones, i guess you already heard from the YouTube problems we have due to the licensing company GEMA. Almost every music video is blocked in Germany the first months until it's clear YouTube doesn't need a GEMA license for that video. So, publishing a game here in Germany is always a problem if it comes to music games... we are talking about 200+ songs for a game and if you exclude the songs which were already in F, F2nd or Mirai, there are still a lot of songs SEGA might still need a license here for.
I'm so looking forward for this! I remember that song on the picture of Rin from the 3ds game :D I found out that you can only get this game by downloading it on your ps4 but that is from Japan. Are we able to download it for those of us who live outside of Japan?
You can make a Japanese PSN account and buy it over that. You'd need a Japanese Credit card or YEN PSN cards for that though. Japanese PSN cards can be bought online, in stores like play asia. There is also a bunch of tutorials for setting up the account right and stuff, so yeah, we'll be fine. And yes, you'll be able to play the game with your EU or US account, as long as you set everything up right.
Okay great! Does that mean you don't have to get a japanese PSN account if you have a US or Eu account? Sorry I don't have a ps4 yet but I will get one since there are some games coming next year (including this one) for this platform so for now I don't know much about the accounts and how it works etc. How is setting it up right to make the game work? I read somewhere that you need to set it up as a "Prim PS4"? And you also need a japanese DLC as well.
You'll need the JP Account to buy it, but once you downloaded it you can play it on any account, as long as you set it as the Prim system for the JP account.
I read the other day a youtube comment saying that the game will be released in August next year. I hope it will be earlier than that >.<
Well, the game is going to be released after Project Diva X gets released. The Vita version of X gets released in March of next year, and the PS4 version gets released in Fall of next year. So, assuming it would be released after the Vita version of X and the PS4 version of X afterwards, the earliest possible would be April of next year. Assuming it's after the PS4 version of X, then we'd have to wait until at least December of next year. So basically, expect Future Tone to be released around Christmas time.
Still, I'd have to wonder... What are the chances of the port coming to the west? And, if it does come to the west, would DIVA.NET be fully translated?
There will be support for the DIVANET? But if DIVANET manages to live on, then I do hope that they'll give it a facelift. Recently I was studying my University's mobile maps website and I realized that it has a similar design as the DIVANET; the pages are mostly text-based and its options are in small groups of 10 (with quick access keys from 0-9). Since smart phone users cannot use those shortcut keys, it was likely designed for phones with small screens and button input. At least, I hope that they'll give us a full website. But if there's no support for the DIVANET, I hope that there's a way to carry our profile data over.
2 screens revealed on twitter: https://twitter.com/nakanohito_1go/stat ... 4003809284 The first image shows the song selection screen, with the bottom left corner showing "30/213 songs". So it is pretty sure that there will be at least 213 playable songs in Future Tone. That is simply amazing.
That tweet isn't about the PS4 port, but about a competition on the actual arcade, as far as I can tell.
