It was just announced on Sony conferece at Tokyo Game Show. They had shown a small part of "Electro Saturator" with PS4 Controller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKNiLDK-vvE HOLD and Double notes are in this version too. http://www.famitsu.com/news/201509/15088369.html Looks like it will have a slightly different look. Hope they won't make us pay for additional songs. And I hope for EUR/USA release.
Re: PS4 Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone I am all the hype right now. 2 PS4 Miku games in 1 year. 2016 sure will be great.
Re: PS4 Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone Same for me. But I wonder about release date and songs (and payment for it).
Re: PS4 Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone More info on the conference tomorrow. http://info.miku.sega.jp/4893?_ga=1.957 ... 1400065405
I can only imagine the game being watered down for the console market due to heavily technical notes in the arcade. Unless they bundle the game with a cheap mini controller, but even then it's useless. The whole thing annoys me because the slides in Future Tone are what sets the game apart from the original DIVA Arcade, as well as other music games. Sure, it can be done with the PS4 touch panel but the feeling is completely wrong, both the size of the panel but more importantly, the distance per slide. Part of the difficulty of the harder songs now, is that you have to hold certain button combinations with both hands (usually Triangle and Circle) and simultaneously hit sliders. It'll be much easier now... Anyway, I'm holding back my excitement till HORI announces a revised ASC for X. And only if the touch pad is arcade sensitive and not the crap they gave us for the PS3 version ASC.
Some old news that weren't posted here. -The game will run in 1080p at 60fps. -Download-only (at least, at this point of time). -Retail release is possible if there is enough "spirit". -The producer said that they are planning to release it in full package with all 200+ songs from the Arcade without DLC as a "Thank you" to the fans. -Release is after Project Diva X (presumably Vita version). I feel more like they are planning to create a new Arcade Machine once they run out of songs again... Otherwise they won't really decide to port FT to a console. But it's only a guess, who knows.
I do like the fact that Future Tone is releasing on PS4, however I would have liked sega to announce a PC Port aswell, since it would be more accessible, and not everybody has or can afford a PS4 (Dont get any ideas, my desktop is a budget build and can play games at decent/great performance).
However, anybody who wants sega to make a PC port, if you can sign this, it would be greatly appreciated: https://www.change.org/p/sega-port-hatsune-miku-project-diva-future-tone-to-pc
No... just no. I understand a lot of people might consider this game to be in the PC but imo that's really not what I am looking forward the most. Forcing people to own a better PC in order to run a rythm game without any fps drops is just not feeling right. Why would you even going to lower the quality of the game just to have a stable FPS to play? Not to mention you have to play with keyboards... If you compare to consoles, every console will run the game at same fps no matter what (unless your system having issues or such) Then there is still the fact that on PC you are able to exploit/black copy games way easier than on recent consoles which requires things like homebrew, jailbreak and such (which barely works with weekly/monthly firmware updates). Let's rather stay at console games, it is the better option imo. P.S.: Aren't PS4 even cheaper than a better PC?
Well... the PDA AC is actually a PC with roughly the same specs (in terms of loadout, not the numbers) as my desktop PC, which is pretty mediocre by today's standards due to its age. With the PC, there would be a possibility that they can go with a custom controller because it's an open system. They did ask for a 2nd platform that players would like PDA to appear on anyway, although they never mentioned what the results of the poll were.
