Hey guys, this is something I've always been curious about...maybe it's just me. I actually have an easier time getting full combo on most Normal/Hard songs than Easy. The reason being is Easy is slow and scattered, there isn't a consistent beat that keeps you going, just press a button, wait 2 seconds, press a button...it's horrible, I still have yet to perfect ALL the Easy songs because I just really don't want to play them (I assume you unlock something for doing so though?) and I only want to play it once (and get perfect), it's annoying when you get a SAFE because the song is so slow paced and boring...is it just me or is the feeling mutual amongst yourselves?
I have a huge issue with easy mode stages because I'm always wanting to go faster. I have to keep talking to myself to slow down and be patient while playing which can be severely frustrating at times. I just want to do normal and hard mode songs and then progress to extreme.
Agreed, I haven't played any of the songs on easy yet because I really don't want to do it. I save it for when I've played Hard and Extreme so much I get bored of the button combinations and just want something different xD It might take a while but eventually you do it simply for completion.
Same here, the easy mode is far away from a rhythm game since the buttons are too spaced :) and you're losing your focus on the notes, watching the PV, it's perturbing.
you unlock some stuff doing easy but you can unlock alot more just starting at normal xD Now i know in the older diva games hard mode was pretty much easy and normal combined note wise but F,f does not seem that way is that just me or anyone else notice this?
I don't think you unlock anything in Easy that you can't get otherwise, but I played everything on Easy, then everything on Normal, then Hard, then Extreme. Didn't really account for anything other than grabbing me extra points. I just wanted to do it so I could say I did. I guess the most it did for me was get me familiar with a few songs before trying them on "real" difficulties.
F is my first time actually playing a Hatsune Miku game...with exception to playing the arcade in Japan, but I have no idea what version that was 'cause I didn't pay attention.
I've totally stopped playing songs on easy anymore. In fact, I never even touch anything less than Extreme on the Dreamy Theater games. I find it to be easier and more fun to hit a button for every single note, as opposed to hitting a button for a riff (as in the easier modes).
I only moved on to Easy after I realized I really can't do anything above 9 stars on Extreme as a way to pass the time. I'm waiting for my GF to get back from Japan so I can use the actual controller. As a Pop'n Music fan I can only imagine how much easier Project DIVA F will be with the actual controller than than a DS3.
The same goes for me, I can't pass the 9 stars on Extreme T_T So I started to buy off the whole store in PjDf on my Vita, I bought everything at least once by now :D
You should give it some practice! Extreme is LOTS of fun on the 9+ star songs once you get the hang of it! I got started on Project DIVA PC, which is significantly tougher than the real Project DIVA games, which is why I've been able to pass them, but I'm sure you can pass them too with practice! ^_^
I find that in my quest of mountain training/perfecting easy and normal and trying my veeery best, Easy really is hard. For me counting helps to sort of pass the time. 1 2 3 4 and so on and start it over after a even more significant break between notes.
