[c][/c] Dreamy Theater extend has been released just one and a half months ago, but the Project DIVA team is already hard at work to create a patch. They listened to the community's suggestions and reports, and here's what will be in the new update: Fixed: Edit Mode not loading some Edits Some Edits made in the PSP version of PDe were not able to be loaded in Dreamy Theater. The new update should allow all Edits to be played. Fixed: Massive Performance Losses When combining certain stages with certain modules, the framerate would drop significantly due to a bug. This will be fixed in the new patch. Fixed: Timing Some people reported that the timing in StargazeR and Iroha Uta are slightly off - now, they will be spot-on. Added: New Model Optimizations This might be releated to the Performance Losses, but SEGA has restructured some of the data of the modules, most likely resulting in less system load and a higher framerate. Added: Two-Faced Lovers (Live Mode) And now for the big thing: To please those who have encountered none of the bugs, too, SEGA has added Two-Faced Lovers into Live Mode, where you can choose your own camera angles and have a concert right in your living room. This announcement comes with a few screenshots: [c][newswp=25]http://projectdiva.net/images/news/pde/dt_update1/screen1.jpg[/newswp][newswp=25]http://projectdiva.net/images/news/pde/dt_update1/screen2.jpg[/newswp][newswp=25]http://projectdiva.net/images/news/pde/dt_update1/screen3.jpg[/newswp][newswp=25]http://projectdiva.net/images/news/pde/dt_update1/screen4.jpg[/newswp][/c] The update will go live at noon (Japan time, obviously) on November 5, and will, of course, be free to all owners of Project DIVA Dreamy Theater extend. Woah, I didn't realize it had those bugs. Shame the update is hitting Monday, because I'm bringing the game to a convention this weekend. What module/song combinations cause performance issues?
The blog post did not mention that, and I haven't expierienced anything like that either. Most likely because I don't own DTe. But hey, in case the bug somehow happens during the convention, you know why it happens and can tell them it will be fixed very soon.
Remember to factor in your location. For me, I live in the Pacific Time Zone, so Japan is 17 hours ahead. If it's going to be released noon on Monday 11/5 in Japan, then I subtract 17 hours from that and that's Sunday 11/4 7pm PST. Also take off another hour for the loss of Daylight Savings this weekend and it becomes 6pm! So I know where I'll be at 6pm on Sunday.... XD
