I was wondering what's the difference between the 30dollar LOW price edition vs the 100 dollar regular one? don't they both come with samething? ic card, microfiber towel and stuff
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg Isn't the "low price" version just the game alone? PjD 2nd# is the Limited Edition set with all the goodies. The earpieces were great for the arcade game. But mine stopped working after about a month of use, due to a manufacturing defect (The right speaker stopped working; the speaker developed an open circuit.. and I could not find a suitable replacement).
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg i bought the low price version and it came with the microfiber towel, the wallet thingy, earphones and the AiMe card and ofc the game itself
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg You got ALL that, for just 30USD? D: I paid 119 SGD for my set, in 2012. I just took out my box, and yes... it says "お買い得版 アーケードデビューパック" (Low-price edition, Arcade Debut Pack) on the box. The article on the SEGA blog entry from 2011 (https://sega.jp/topics/110825_2/) doesn't seem to indicate that there was ever a normal version of the Arcade Debut Pack. Where did you find that "normal" version?
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg i paid 50 dollar actually lol also it says 2nd# not 2nd also about the "normal thing" that's the thing, i've never seen a normal edition if there is no normal edition... why are they calling this one "low price" edition? i just assumed there was a regular priced edition
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg I think that the answer lies in this post: http://info.miku.sega.jp/461. If I am understanding it correctly, it's just a re-release of Project DIVA 2nd at a lower price, which was originally released on 2010/07/29. I can barely read though. :/ They were also promoting Project DIVA Arcade at that point, so they made 3 releases of this low-price version: 1. Normal edition (UMD), 3300 yen. 2. Downloadable edition, 3000 yen. 3. Arcade Starter Pack (later known as the Arcade Debut pack), 6300 yen. The post has something along the lines of them actually listening to our requests for a cheaper release lol.
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg oooo glad i got the arcade debut, i really wanted the IC card XD even though i'll prob never get to use it :(
Re: difference between the 2nd Low price edition and the reg I collect the IC cards too. I started off with the original PDA IC card (up to Version A), before moving on to the PjD Arcade Debut pack IC card. And then I moved on to the one that I have now (The Version B card, which wasn't ever sold here). There were other ones as well, but I think that they weren't ever sold and are hence limited editions. I missed playing PDA with the provided earpieces. They seemed great for use with the arcade game, except that mine stopped working and the shop couldn't replace them for me. :( Who knows. Maybe someday PDA will appear someplace closer to you...
