Question Dangling cat (Envy Catwalk unlock)

So this has been driving me insane for a week and I need help. I’ve been trying to get the dangling cat unlock for Envy Catwalk and I just can’t do it. I’ve tried retrying 3 times in a row and then completing the song, I’ve tried retrying the song and finishing 3 separate times and I completed the songs 3 times in a row by hitting retry at the result screen and I still haven’t unlocked it. Someone please tell me what to do since everything I found through google either gives little to no detail or contradicts what someone else says.
