As spanish and long time Vocaloid fan, the idea of a spanish talking Vocaloids was so risky. When i read it on the Wikia, i was very sceptical and had a lot of fear of how strange and awkward the results could be, because at least here, we dont have very good eyes to voice sinthesyther programs (the only one used here is one called Loquendo, which is used for making Youtube Poop videos with sexual jokes).

When they revealed it with some demo songs, it was very surprising the result. The spanish natural languaje does not have very complex phones and its very simple to talk it. The most problematic phones are the one that corresponds to the "ñ" letter and it sounds like /ny/ or so very quickly... It's not very easy to explain, but aside, the languaje it's not a big problem.

    Demo songs time:

The first one is from Bruno (obvious reference to Bruno Mars), with a cover of the song "La Flaca" (The Thin Girl) from "Jarabe de Palo" (group that started in the 90's),a song i used to like very much.

Now, time for Clara with "Por una Rosa" (For a rose):

IIt's a shame that despite having good voices (the phonemes are OK, but the demo songs could have better arrangements because they sound a little robotic even with the Vocaloid 3 engine), fans have been very negative to the reveal of this two. Main problem? Well, they sent to Guiseppe death threats aimed to the artist of Bruno and Clara, surely because "they are not kawaiii sugoi desu o3o", which is totally uncool because we know that Vocaloid is voice program aimed to musical producers.

Personal opinions about these two? Well, personally, i'm not very happy with Clara, it sound very childish and we have plenty of childly voicebanks. Bruno is very promising thought. But is a shame, as i said before, for the spanish market it's nearly a suicidal move. The idea of a virtual artist is mainly a joke for the majority of the people. I would like society could see the potential of these two voicebanks and create great original songs made by unkonow artis... Who knows, maybe we can see a spanish DECO*27 or wowoaka :P
