AS vs JP

    So for my birthday,my mom ordered Project Diva f for me and showed me that she bought it from a buyer on Bonanaza. I checked out the page and the title says Project Diva F (AS/Asia) and the buyer has another that has JP instead. Both games have different back casing covers and front. For the AS ver it looks like the case with the button shapes with Miku.

    Whereas the JP looks like the first release case without the shapes

    Another difference are the region codes. AS has a 3 and JP has 2 and a Japan Only on the back.
    Are the two completely different games?

    Without the shapes? It could mean a Limited Edition copy which is supposed to be included in the PSVita bundle

    Oh ok, someone also told me the AS ver can't get DLC from the JP PSN store so anything else that's different between the two?

    They each get DLC from a different region store, but that's it. It's the same game otherwise.

    AS gets stuff from the asian PSN store, while JP needs stuff from the japanese Store. Getting japanese DLC for an AS game won't work. But both stores will have the same DLCs and both games are the same. The region code doesn't matter since the console is region code free.
