What i hate in F2 is the drastic change of difficulty in gameplay. I mean, for example the Hard difficulty of the songs Clover Club and Miracle Paint isn't that much of a finger acher but when you get to Extreme... well....
One of my least favorite things are the unlocks that require you to get a few million points over multiple plays... They force you to play the same song over and over and over and over until you FINALLY get all the points you need. I have yet to get any of those. Also the charts for the slower songs are pretty infuriating to me.
Is it just me or Knife abused of arrows? lol and link scratch at some some songs starts being abusive too, i seriously say first diva f is a cake walk after playing this...
Quoted for greater justice. I'm surprised some songs on Normal have over +600 notes, I can't perfect most of the songs on normal. Though I must agree with some of you guys as well, this is a very high learning curve, especially for veteran players..
Dam it for the clear with 21 cool/ fine/ safe/ sad/ worst? lol... for some reason i have hard time trying and counting 21 sad notes lol...
This isn't really a complaint about F2nd specifically, but I really wish that it would display what challenge items you've cleared a song with on the song selection menu. I just want permanent proof that I've gotten an excellent on Envy Catwalk on extreme mode with 3 challenge items...
-Link Scratches are terrible, unless they travel at a speed you can react to -Song list isn't as great as F -Timing feels off, which made me give up on using Cool Master S -I wish they kept the old Challenge Items -No "ending" song like someone else said -A bit more difficult to get Diva Points (probably was too easy in F) -I like Two-Faced Lovers, but like others said, it sounds a little different in a bad way. -Normal seems too difficult to be called "Normal" -PVs were less entertaining in my opinion -Double notes felt like they were being overused -They don't fall asleep anymore in the Diva Room (lol) -New unlock system thingy -Edit Mode needs to be downloaded separately (but I don't really use it) -No option on Vita for sticks+screen Overall, it's still a great game and I played the crap out of it when I got it. It just felt a little lacking compared to F in my opinion.
I feel like the F2nd songlist was a lot better than F's songlist? But that's probably just because I was really really excited to be able to play songs from the originals without spending like $200 on a PSP or a Vita.
While the timing can be somewhat off at times, it's much better than f's. None of the notes in f were properly synced. You had to delay your inputs just a slight amount to get a "Cool." They do fall asleep in the Diva Room.
I have yet to beat it but I really hate the touchscreen notes. I like the vita version more then the PS3 version because HD and audio lag makes the game next to unplayable. I do know you can change the touch notes to thumbsticks. I really wish the change touchnotes to R1/L1 where not help items as it marks the song as completed with a help items and it decreases Diva points by 20%. Technical Zones. I hard that 6% of the percentage of your song score is based on missing 2 notes. The first 3 games are so much better just for lacking technical zones!
Oh, maybe they just take longer to sleep? I left mine on for like 2~ minutes and Miku hasn't fallen asleep.
