So now that Project Diva F is released and has had major hype, do you think SEGA will focus on making another Project Diva game anytime soon? If so, will they lean more to making a Project Diva series for the Vita or get back to the PSP? Anyone out there wanting a Project Diva game on another system perhaps like XBOX 360, 3DS again or perhaps even the Nintendo Wii?
1. Of course. since the first one released, they've been making a new one each year, released in the Summer/Fall area. 2. Probably stick on the vita. The PSP is pretty dead now and definitely outdated in terms of graphics. 3. I'd like Project Diva to be PSP/Vita/PS3 exclusive. I don't really care about spin-offs they make for other consoles (like mirai) but seeing as all the other systems are region-locked, there's no way I'm spending an extra $300 plus on a Japanese system for a single game.
On that notion, should I sell my PSP 3000? I mean I really enjoyed owning it but looking at how the Vita is the hype and I don't expect another PD game anytime soon for the PSP and I know people have played the first three games on the Vita so I guess it's a win-win but it'd mean having to sell my physical UMD's as well and I don't know how much I'd get for the first and 3rd game. I'm really curious as to what the 2nd game for the vita will be like! Perhaps they'll stick with the first name and just add 2nd to it? Project Diva-f 2nd......
How about Project Diva S? The S will stand for supper! New songs, new module and most importantly new features.
I really really hope that the PS3 ver. of project diva f has improved graphics. And i want a controller for the ps3 like the arcade one! Do you think they will release or sell another one? Because i wasnt a fan when hori made the first one. And I wouldn't care to pay that. I look up for it second handed everywhere, even in akihabara this summer and nothing! :(
well currently they'll focus on Project DIVA f (PS3), Project DIVA DT Extend (PS3) and DLC for MikuFlick/02 and Project DIVA f.
System that is less then year old so of course production costs are gonna be alot but they did most of the hard work already so a sequel is when they show off the perfection of that work and the improvements on. Also with it being a new system its not gonna be as well owned as the psp or ps3 heck we just finally got to use psone games on us vitas ^^;;; I just think this is a cheap ploy so they can sell dlc then wow us with news of a sequel in 2013.
Yeah, most of the work has been done. If f -> f2 is the same as, say, 2nd -> Extend, then all they're doing is buying new song licenses and making some new modules and animations. The core game is already made.
In a possible next version of Project Diva, more challenging charts, i guess. In addition, system and mechanics imported from PDA, although it's far from possible because of controller type (in fact, more GREAT expenses in acquiring an extra controller as seen on Project Diva Controller for PS3, what this is a worth value equal to PS3 console). Ok. it's only my aspiration, it seems the only way is playing PDA in a somewhat moment of my life, and no more further than this =/
