That's not a typo. When playing around in the Special Lives, I noticed that after just one song I had already reached over 350% voltage. So, for the last few hours, I've been trying to see how high your voltage can actually go.

The issue I'm having is, quite simply, I'm not good enough at the game to achieve this. The only way to even get close is to get 3 Perfects on Extreme songs that have a lot of notes, which are generally the more difficult ones. So far, the highest I've gotten to is 790%, but even that had a lot of mistakes. http://imgur.com/a/WmLHj

If anybody wants to try this for themselves, here's all the info I've learned today:

•When choosing the songs, go with The Lost One's Weeping, Brain Revolution Girl and Amazing Dolce. I havent tested every song yet, but that is the only combination I've found that excedes 1300 notes (on Extreme, obviously).

•When choosing Modules, you'll need to make sure you've unlocked at least one with "Every 100 combo, your voltage increases by 30%", marked as a Lv. 5. You can get these by completing the Beauty Quest for Miku (which I believe is unlocked after your Beauty Area becomes level 3? Not positive), which is probably the easiest one. You can also complete Len's Cute Quest, which is unlocked after your Cute Area reaches level 6. There are others, and apparently Kaito has a Module with "Every 50 combo, your voltage increases by___% Lv. 5", if that number happens to be 15%, thats probably your best choice.

•Choose accesories that combine to give a Voltage boost of +60%. This should be a bit easier than it might sound, considering attributes don't matter during Special Lives. I haven't found a setup to get over 60% (which is actually just 20% from your module + 40% from accessories), but if there is a way I'd love to know.

I've spent a very long time finding out accessory combos that give 60%, but Im not sure I got them all. For the images that show 55%, it means that no matter what you fill the last slot with you'll always end with 60%. http://m.imgur.com/a/zy3T7

I'm actually not clear on how the voltage works. I know that how you set up your module makes the number go up, but aside from that, how do you make it go up and what does it do? The way you worded it made it sound like it stacks between songs. If I could just have a quick overview that would be great.

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

Voltage replaces the life gauge in live quest mode instead of filling up the bar you try to get enough voltage to clear the quest. So even if you hit a lot of buttons if you haven't reached the voltage you still fail the quest using accessories and modules that match an attribute(i.e. Nuetral module and accessories on Nuetral song) get you a higher amount of voltage on that song making it easier to pass the quest if you don't feel you're good enough at the song to beat it, some accessories have more voltage percent than others while all modules only give 20% percent voltage if they're paired with a song they match with (i.e. Nuetral modules give 20% on Nuetral songs and Beauty Modules give 20% on Beauty songs). If you're good at a song you really don't have to worry about how much voltage certain accessories and modules give you because you should be able to get the max amount of voltage playing that song and beating it without a lot of safes/misses.

Some special quests you must use accessories and modules of a certain element to get the voltage needed for it to pass the quest and some special quests have it where the element of the module and accessories don't matter they give voltage regardless of element.

To set up a module to get voltage you would look at the element you're playing for example Neutral you would choose a Nuetral module which would give you 20% voltage and than add Nuetral accessories which will give varying amounts of voltage.

    1000% Voltage doesn't work.

The result is 848% voltage perfect with the condition you have given.

You think with all cool it probably wouldn't get much higher than 900% huh?

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

Does Luka have the right skill? Thats the only module for her I dont have, and the wikispace doesnt have the skill listed. It seems strange to me that with 13 mistakes I ended up only 50% away from the maximum.

Though it probably wont make a difference for getting the highest possible voltage, I did find out today that the 100 combo +30% ends when a song is over, it doesnt transfer to the next one. For example, I believe Mrs Pumpkin on Extreme has 297 notes. You'd have the skill activate twice, but hitting the first 3 notes in the next song won't activate the skill. This means that any songs between 300-399 notes will end up giving roughly the same amount of voltage, the only difference being that the longer songs will have more of those notes with the glow around them that give you +5%. It also means that I'll have to play around with more Modules, perhaps some are more useful than the one I have listed since 2 of those songs are both just barely under 400 notes.

Another funny thing I noticed is that Lost One's Weeping has so many more notes than any other song I've tested, even on Hard it has more than any of the Extreme songs so far at 404. I've tested The First Melody, Love Song, Satisfaction, The Name of the Sin, Raspberry*Monster, Holy Lance Explosion Boy, Slow Motion, Streaming Heart, Mrs. Pumpkin's Comical Dream, Babylon, Coward Squadron Urotander, and then obviously Brain Revolution Girl + Amazing Dolce + Lost One's Weeping. There were a few more that I checked but didnt keep track of how many notes they had, just if it had more than any of those 3 songs.

Oh, by the way, I was curious if anybody found a better skill set than this if you're going for Score instead of voltage? I watched Hisokeee play through those 3 songs on a stream this morning, unfortunately he had the wrong skills on but his total was about 1.1m I think. 1.1 and 1.5, thats a pretty huge score difference for getting Perfect on the same 3 songs.

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

100 combo 30% rate up for the best, both in rates or score since you are going for full combo. Only rate up 5% skill is debatable if there were more rate up notes among 100 notes. Anyway, 1000% seems to be impossible.

Also, set songs with higher number of notes later will increase your score.

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

I've been thinking about that for several days now. I've constantly been asking myself "if the Voltage is rising solely on how many notes get hit instead of a timer, would it really matter what order the songs are in?" I would think that because the 100 combo +30% doesnt transfer between songs, you'd want to put songs that are just shy of hitting 400/any number with 100 as a factor at the end. If you put Mrs. Pumpkin first, of the 297 notes you'd be getting a fairly low voltage boost for the last 97. If its at the end though, then it having just under 300 notes wouldnt be as much of an issue because there isnt any song after it.

I feel like Im bad at explaining, so let me try a hypothetical scenario. Lets say you have 3 songs, they are 400 350 and 299 notes long. If you start with the song that has 299 and get Perfect, you'll have earned 60% extra voltage (+ a bit more from the notes with a glow around them). If you're using the right accessories and Modules, that means you've gone up to 220% (ignore glowing notes for the example) by the end of the song with 750 notes remaining.

If you start with the 400 note song, with the right modules and accessories you'll have 280% after the first song with 649 notes remaining. I think the correct way to do this would be to then follow with the 350, and have the 299 last. If the 100 combo +30% doesnt transfer between songs, then you're wasting the last 99 notes of the 299 one because you know you wont be getting that 30% later. So, it would make sense for it to be last, right?

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

That's because you are using an ideal example for your song order. If they were like 430, 350 and 270, the result would be different. That 297 notes song is clearly ineffective for the 100 combo skill, so choose another song is a good idea.

My thought is setting shorter songs at first can active all the bonus voltage from modules & accessories sooner, which means they can yield the most interest.

Well... Not sure if this helps, but here are the note counts for each song's special lives. It is really looking like Amazing Dolce, Brain Revolution Girl and Lost One's Weeping is the correct way to go for song choices. (Japanese Titles, because I copied of the left most column on the wiki to make my spreadsheet) Although I am kind of curious if the order has anything to do with it. When I placed Lost One's Weeping first, I got 848% like Magical39, but when I placed it at the end, I only got 843%.

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

I tested Lost One Weeping, Slowmotion & Renai Saiban, with 3xMiku only.

Result is 857% because Miku is on Level 7 Happy, which causes more glowing notes to appear.
So the only chance to increase the % voltage is to use a 500+300+300 song that also is longer than other songs to have more chances to get glowing notes.

    Re: 1000% Voltage?

A minor correction but the % is the Voltage Rate, Voltage is your score on the bottom right.
Haven't tested yet, but Ivy Rabbit has the ability Rate Notes + lv.5 which greatly increases the chance of rate notes appearing. On top of that, for every 2 levels of affection, you get a 1% bonus for Rate Notes when using that character.

So, to increase rate I would suggest leveling Miku to lv 10 affection to get 10% for every Rate Notes, then either use Ultimate Miku to make it 15% or use Ivy Rabbit to try to get as many 10% as possible.
Can anyone with max affection with Miku try this?

Using Miku Friendship Lv MAX manage to give me with 3x 100 Combo 30% Voltage: 891% Voltage.

Using Rate note + Lv 5 on the last song gave me 850% in total

Using Rate Note UP Lv 5 on the last song gave me even less: 820% Voltage.

I just started trying this again, but Im a major scrublord and cant play Amazing Dolce for the life of me. I did have a run with 880% Voltage Rate, and was at a point where if I didn't goof on the ending of The Lost Ones Weeping, I'd get another 30%. But I goofed. I dont know what Im doing differently in terms of the setup, but Im convinced you can get well over 910%.

Yes, all are at max. I think 1000% voltage would only work if there'll be DLC songs which will have at least 400 notes in the special live mode, otherwise it won't work at the moment.
