While we already have a moe song already (Clover Club), I wouldn't mind Nekomimi Switch coming back. In fact, I don't care what song will come back since the last one I wanted (Sakura no Ame) is already confirmed to be in the game. Although if I would rejoice if it was something like Change me or something obscure like Honto wa Wakatteru or Updating Your Love List? (I honestly don't know why but those are some of my favorite songs).

For a new song I would like an oster project song, it's been a while since a new oster project song popped up in the PjD series. Preferably Alice in Musicland so that we could have another 6-character song.

 

Again, I'd like to make some predictions. In our current roster, we're missing songs from some regulars, like:
CosMo-P
Sasakure.uk
JimmyThumb-P

I'm predicting that at least two songs by these producers will be included in the final roster. I'm including Knife into the song list for this prediction, so only 2 new songs are unknown. I'm going to hope that the CosMo-P song appearing is new, since I'd prefer Shoushitsu and Gekishou don't make a return. I'd say Ramapage of Hatsune Miku, but I think it's a little too comedic to be included as an endgame song. So I think the two most probable appearances for new songs from CosMo-P are the Confusion of Hatsune Miku / Hatsune Miku no Tomadoi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5HEcGmJ294) or Leaping from 0 to Infinity (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6OqTWdQW7k). Both of these are more related to Shoushitsu and Gekishou and would play better in a rhythm game, the button mashing is still there.

As for sasakure.uk, I don't think Hello, Planet. will return since it reappeared in Mirai 2 (then again, Kokoro was in both, so you can never be sure). Normally, I would predict either, assuming the rest of the songs are Miku songs, 39 or Lost and Found since they are sasakure.uk's most popular Miku songs aside from Hello, Planet. However, Rin has a whopping one solo in the current roster, and it's a classic song. So I'm going all in and predicting Tiger Rampage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDUS04dtMu8) It would contribute to the difficulty of the game, a definite 10-star. Or, if they're being generous, a 9.5. It seems like an endgame song because of its difficulty, so I'm thinking this song is one of the two new songs, for sure. But they probably won't include it, thinking there are enough 9-stars already.

For the last returning song, I think either Starduster, From Y to Y, or Rolling Girl. Most of the songs listed on the thread here I think are unprobable for variety reasons; Clover Club is the moe song, so no Nekomimi Switch. Sakura no Ame is already a graduation song, so no Honto wa Wakatteru. So I've narrowed it down to either a JimmyThumb-P song or Rolling Girl to top off the top 10.

These are just my predictions, but I was right about Envy Catwalk before it was released. I had high hopes for Tiger Rampage since the beginning too, so I think that will be included due to the lack of Rin solos.

I'm a bit peeved because if the date wasn't pushed back, we'd already know all the songs coming in and we'd have been able to see screenshots and stuff of them. There's still quite a while to wait, even if we're already in March. And I know they're probably going to take their sweet time releasing info gradually so they'll have enough to go over the 3 weeks. I just want to know already!

 

Well the whole reason they pushed it back was to perfect the game. Better to wait for a better experience than to have the game rushed. If we had all the screenshots by now, there wouldn't be much more to look forward to; to keep our eyes peeled.

 

Hmm... I actually wonder if we're gonna be able to import F/f's DLC to F2nd.
While they might include the DLC modules as regular modules in the game, how about the songs? Can we import them?

 

I wonder if a demo is at all going to be released for the PS3.
I would love to play it.

 

I posted this originally on VO but i don't think the discussion here is that different from the one there.
People speculate that because the Infinity, Noble, Gothic, Butterfly, Flower, Stroll Style and Scarlet modules were shown, means that those songs will be back.
Showing or confirming just the module doesn't mean that the song will be back because if that is the case then Change Me, Magnet, Cantarella (original ver), sound , Gekishou and The Rebel are going to be back.

Now, if we discuss who might get another song...
In order of treatment:

Luka: 4 solos and 1 duet (Akatsuke Arrival, Luka Luka Night Fever, Double Lariat, Hello Worker and Blackjack)
Len: 2 solos and 2 duets (Paradichlorobenzene, Soundless Voice, Suki Kirai and Erase or Zero)
KAITO: 2 solos and 2 duets (A Thousand Years Solo, Cantarella-grace edition-, Erase or Zero and Tsugai Kogarashi)
Rin: 1 solo and 3 duets (Kokoro, Colorful x Melody, Spoofing Genga and Suki Kirai)
MEIKO: 1 solo and 1 duet (Kowase Kowase and Tsugai Kogarashi)

If we talk with logic then Rin and Len wouldn't get a new solo if Knife gets confirmed since both would have 5 slots like Luka. KAITO and MEIKO usually get the same treatment so MEIKO should be getting 2 new solos (Colorful x Sexy is and isn't an option at the same time because if the song is back, Luka would have 6 slots leaving both Rin and Len behind but at the same time it is possible because of the treatment Luka is getting and that it would give MEIKO a third slot) but MEIKO having another 2 solos is impossible but it is possible for her to have at least one more (if it's true then her returning song would be Boukyaku Shinjyuu along with the Lorelei module.) Now if Colorful x Sexy isn't back then the chances for Rin having a second solo increase because she's usually SEGA's favorite, we know that they "ship" Miku and Rin (they don't ship them but the duets they use usually have Miku in there so it's a good way to have some Rin while having even more Miku, that may be the reason why Rin has 3 duets and all of them are with Miku).
This time KAITO's gotten the best treatment for him since PD2nd so the chances of him getting a new solo/duet aren't that high due the fact of Len being the same.
Len has been getting the same treatment since PD2nd so the chances for a new solo aren't also that high.
I'm not even touching Luka.

So with all of this if Knife gets confirmed, the 3 left songs could be 1 Miku solo, maybe another duet with Rin or with Luka and 1 MEIKO solo; but the chances of MEIKO getting another solo are very low. So if the MEIKO solo doesn't happen i would go with a Rin solo or another RinLen duet

 

I know, I realize everything you said. That was just a rant from me because I'm impatient. And of course I don't expect them to give us all the songs now if it's on the 27th. I meant if it were released on the 6th like it was orginally going to be, we'd know all the songs and have screenshots of them, but now we must wait more and it hurts my soul. I do agree that it's better to wait than have a clunky game, though. Like I said, I'm just impatient. This speculation is making me a little nervous because I REALLY don't want songs like Gekishou and Magnet in the game (unless they actually give Luka a part in Magnet and have the PV be re:created).

About what we're discussing now: I highly doubt they'd remove Miku from Knife, especially because we still need a real trio song already. If anything, I think they'd remove Len's part because it's small compared to Rin and Miku's, but I really don't want any of them to be removed. I'll be disappointed if it really ends up not having one real trio song in the end.

 

Very unlikely but to solve a small bit of the Rin and MEIKO problem, they could include Amulet by PeperonP, it's a VERY good song. It would also have great potential to be a counterpart PV to erase or zero.
