Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] I thought the sleeve physics were nice compared to what we've seen them do before. You can not honestly say that this is the case when we still barely know about what the new game has to offer (programming wise), it hasn't even been released yet. And I never encountered frame rate drops in the PSP games when I played them. I believe the reason they stiffened it up IS to reduce framerate drops (I mean, what other reason would they do this?). The reason they could have every characters' sleeves move in Senbonzakura was because there wasn't much to the background/stage and effects. Comparing this to DECORATOR, there is a TON going on in the PV with the stage, giant television, and effects causing them to stiffen physics and hand movements.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] I don't know what Project Diva games you're playing but I've never had any frame rate drops during any but the very first Project Diva game. And no matter how a game is programmed it can't surpass what the hardware can do, so your argument that how it's programmed can allow Sega to add a bunch of physics is illogical. Luka's skirt during Decorator obviously has physics, so does her hair. They did remove physics for most of the other characters, but this would most likely to help with the Vita. Decorator is a very graphics heavy PV, what with the enormous stadium and the large audience.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] do you think the ps3 version will have all the characters physics in decorator? because the ps3 can handle a lot more than the vita. -i'm hoping they do cuz i have a ps3
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] The first DIVA suffers from drastic framedrops in almost all the PVs. 2nd and Extend also suffer from framedrops but it's less noticeable. It IS logical if you know how much of the console graphic power the game uses. The PSP DIVA games ONLY use 27% of the graphical power of the console and add to it that every scene of the game has less than 30k of polygons while the psp can handle 95k polygons per scene. So yes, my argument is more than logical. *EDIT* Clover Club confirmed to be in too! 4 songs left.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] Yup! Clover Club is comfirmed to be in the game! But SEGA still doesn't want to release the images. So that's mean 2 new and 2 old songs left. =)
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] Well I hope "Meltdown" or "Butterfly on the Right Shoulder" get put into the mix...or have they already? Sorry, I haven't been paying attention >_<
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 7 Feb.] I'm afraid that they gonna abandon Last Night Good Night or Ame Nochi Sweet Drops in Diva 1st cause I REALLY WANTED THAT SONG SO MUCH!! DX
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Well, this sure changed a lot. I was thinking since Miku Hood was releaved without a song Clover Club wouldn't be in. But since it is... there's a chance (or risk) that The Intense Singing will be back. It's not unthinkable. I think Clover Club is fine but it lowers the chances for other songs *cough*Meltdown*cough*. Still believe Rolling Girl is a given though and will be quite disappointed if it's not in. (Also, what happened to the Meiko songs? She's really falling behind. Even Kaito's got twice the amount of songs she does.)
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] I guess it's an issue of balance? Not too sure how these songs are being selected so I guess I shouldn't be guessing. On the plus side I'm getting excited the closer it gets to being released, it's taken a while but it's good to have that feeling again. ^^
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Clover Club? Eh... I mean, I liked the song in PD2 and I think the module is cute, but for it to be a returning song... And I'm really sure Rolling Girl is going to be in too, so if the last old song is ALSO a Miku one then ugh. Meiko still needs an old song. If one of the old songs is Gekishou I will probably cry myself to sleep (lol). Edit: And they're actually revealing songs one by one now? I guess it's because there are only 2 handfuls of songs left so they're trying to keep us on our toes.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] I know that SEGA is exciting to release the game but back off by the release date, though. (LOL!) I have one thought in my mind right now, if Clover Club is comfirmed and it's module also have been comfirmed. Then, GEKISHOU WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO BE IN! OMG! DX
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] I think we should also mention that Yubikiri is confirmed too, not just hinted. Which means there's a huge chance of Knife and Blackjack being 2 of the new songs. Please Knife pleaaaaase, and please let it have an awesome PV and modules!
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Guess what's on Famitsu's website? :3 (No, not info on the songs unfortunately) Pictures of all of the Piapro-winners' modules, as well as the one for DECORATOR! *still too lazy for more than a link* http://www.famitsu.com/news/201402/13047908.html Since the contest was about Sunday/casual wear, they all have very simple names. In order: Street Pop * Loose Fluffy Pastel Fairy One-piece * White Edge Floral * Holiday Marine Ribbon DECORATOR's is Orange Blossom. All names are in katakana so they're very easy to read (except the Loose Fluffy Pastel which is very Yuru fuwa-pastelly. Someone else can tell you what Fuwa is 'cause I don't really know, just guessing a little.)
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Oooooh! Look at those, they're pretty cool. I still don't really like Meiko's, though. Her dress looks like it's made of cardboard. Also, fuwa is kind of like a sound or something. It describes something fluffy or soft etc.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] I agree about Meiko's, it's too bad she can't get decent clothing anymore >.< And yes, since Fuwa is a sound it's hard to translate :P But I was sort of right! 好きよ
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Loooooooooooove Meiko, Luka and Katio's new outfits! Oh, Fuwa would mean "flower".
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Myself, I'm glad that Clover Club is returning, it's been one of my favorite songs to play in the series. However, I'm worried about what this means for Gekishou... Hood was revealed and then Clover Club was revealed... If Gekishou returns, then we'll all be in for a rough time. On the other hand, I really love all of the Piapro module designs! Meiko's dress does look very static, though, hers is probably my least favorite.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] My favorite out of Piapro's design is still tomboyish Miku, but other's designs are also cool.
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] I love Clover Club and was hoping it would return, so I'm glad. Miku's Street Pop outfit is super cute and Kaito looks so cool in his casual outfit!
Re: PjDF2nd New video + Info [UPDATE 12 Feb.] Really love MEIKO's outfit! If I saw that outfit separate from her face, I would've though it would look out of place on her but she works it really well! KAITO's is something... different than what we've seen before, his hair and more casual style brings out a new personality (same with the rest of these characters). These modules look as if there's a new style to them, it makes it seem like they were pulled off the design pages, I mean, they were... but they look like something that would never be in the game but look where they are now! I wish I could play these with Time Machine, they're ALL perfect for it.
