Not surprising to see very little going into the physical packaging. Things like that, while not a deal-breaker, continue to turn me off of the western release. Part of the reason I love importing Japanese titles is the effort that is put into the presentation.
Eh, kinda nitpicky imo. Though I won't even have the game for a bit since I had to preorder online. All Gamestop stores only got a couple copies. I'm hoping it does good on PSN, I really want the others to get over here, namely F2nd.
Cant complain cause Japanese version is more expensive. (without mention if you arent in Japan, then join the expressmail + customs tax)
Was looking for English live streams and this dude got to the credits in 4 hours http://www.twitch.tv/youngkemo
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you only need to beat every song on a single difficulty to get to the credits, right?
You have to clear up to "Continuing Dream", Extras are not required. Don't know about the difficulty, could be Easy/Normal or Normal only? I just joined when he was at the credits.
I played for a while. They translated a lot more song titles than I thought they would. One that stood out to me was "Torinoko City" becoming "Urbandonment". I had to stare at it for a while to understand what it meant ("urban" and "abandonment"). It's a pretty weird translation choice.
Wait, is it "Urbandoment" or "Unabandoment"? I've seen people say it's the latter, but maybe they just got some letters mixed together?
Whilst it does sound like an unusual contraction choice, it certainly sound better than "Left Behind City", and still manages to convey the same sort of meaning. Whilst one might also be able to say the same for Online Game Addicts Sprenchchor, it already had a perfectly acceptable English title; why SEGA decided to change it is simply baffling. Bar the possibility of people not understanding what "Sprenchchor" means, of course... Whilst a one week delay in PAL territories isn't that much of a big deal, I'm a little less than thrilled with the reports that the digital-only game will be very close to full retail price. Not exactly the best move on SEGA's part in gaining some consumer confidence, but maybe they didn't have much hopes for Europe/PAL to begin with...
I want to buy the PSN-Download-version from the european store for just 49,99 ! But it is only available in the US-Store... :( Does anyone know when they will release it in EU-Store ? ...maybe next week ? edit: they have put the DEMO in ALL Stores - but why they don't put the FULL-VERSION in all stores ? :(
The song title differences I've seen are: Megane -> Glasses Torinoko City -> Urbandonment Kamikyoku -> God-Tier Tune Online Game Addict Sprechor -> The MMORPG Addict's Anthem I'll Miku Miku You Up (for realz) Don't know if this counts lol Kamikyoku's title change was most surprising, I wonder why they translate that (and Megane) and leave out Tengaku or Senbonzakura. Spoiler: offtopic Tomyi, your icon's confusing, I can't tell the difference between you & MikuHatsune, plus you're both German D:
Megane is the Japanese word for glasses. Not a surprising change. I imagine Tengaku and Senbonzakura were untouched....because it sounds better maybe? They both sound a lot better than "Song of the Heavens" and "Thousand Cherry Blossoms" :u Lastly, God-Tier Tune I think comes from the lyrics. Just replace "godly" with "God-Tier". I guess Godly Song didn't sound as good. http://onsenjikan.dreamwidth.org/45353.html
Senbonzakura and Tengaku were probably untouched because their PVs are too Japanese. (Seriously, I'm giggling here but that statement is true.) The title change that surprised me is Torinoko City. The english title is so unique that it blew my mind. "Urbandonment" is really accurate and I mean REALLY. Torinoko City is about a girl who feels left out in public.
It's today for europeans fans !!! But WHY does the price is not €39,39 instead of €39,99 ? SEGA what have you done, this is a lack of dedication !! :)
Weird.. just went onto the PSN store to buy PDF and the price went up from £31.99 (€39.99) to £36.99 (€44.99). Kinda cruel considering I only have £36 on my account :'(
According to projectdiva.fr, the price was at the very first beginning €39.99. So the price rose (or maybe it was a PSN error ?), and even with the £5(or €5) more, there is no DLCs included, SEGA really don't care about European Union.
Be happy they even cared to release that in Europe on a higly pirated console lol... Vita didnt get a thing from the start lolol. (well at least they cant say i didnt support Sega when i bought it at day release)
