I know I do.I would really love to see Yukari,IA,SeeU and many more.I wish they could be put in PD games but that is very unlikely since the other Vocaloids don't belong to Crypton. But I really love it if this could actually happen.Wishful thinking I know lol So do you guys have any other Vocaloids you would like to see in a PD or maybe a different game?
Well I was hoping for the other Internet Co. Vocaloids to be in Megpoid the Music as cameos or something but sadly, that didn't happen. There most likely isn't going to be a game with all the Vocaloids in it but at least we're getting somewhere with Gumi being in Mirai. Boy, I sure would love to see some of my favorites like Sweet Ann, Gachapoid, MEIKO, Yukari, Miki, and even some UTAUs like Teto in Uta, all in the same game. Dreams will be dreams I suppose xD
They should put VY1 and VY2 in Project DIVA as disembodied voices in duets. And the other Vocaloid just looks confused the whole time.
Well, remember that Project diva games are not so old, the first one on PSP was released Jul. 2, 2009 Source : http://www.projectdiva.net ^^ There will be others rythms games with vocaloids that are not from crypton future media, Megpoid the music was a first try... Wait and see.
Hmm. Don't really like IA and I don't care for the male Vocaloids but I would like to see more GUMI and Lily :)
I'm not some sort of legal person but why can't they just release a game or something featuring all (if not, a good chunk) of Vocaloids in them. Yamaha technically hosts all of them in it's program. I think of it like Hotwheels (weird comparison, I know), it hosts all sorts of cars but all coming from different makers/manufacturers. Why can't Yamaha do the same? Maybe they could ask a whole bunch of manufacturers to do a game- Hell not even a game, just something that shows how wonderful each and every VB and VB character they have is. Something to bring it all together besides Games and Music.
But lets remember the game is called HATSUNE MIKU Project Diva and the other Vocaloids do need to take a back seat role :)
Well this thread makes me think that it's not necessarily about the Project Diva series in particular, just wanting more Vocaloids involved in things like games. And yes, for the PD games, it is called "Hatsune Miku Project DIVA" but that doesn't mean the game has to be ALL about her. I can think of many franchises that don't always focus on the one star in the franchise. Just to list a few favorites: Keroro Gunsou focuses on all the characters a ton of the time. Pokemon doesn't always focus on Pikachu. Super Mario doesn't always focus on Mario. Kindgom Hearts doesn't always focus on Sora. etc. etc. We don't want our favorites being stuck in the dark for the entire series, we want more involvement from them.
SEGA only got the licenses for CRYPTON Vocaloids. You also see the CRYPTON logo in every PJD game. Lily = Not CRYPTON SeeU = Not CRYPTON Gumi = Not CRYPTON ... The only reason why Gumi is in Project Mirai & Mirai 2 is because SEGA got licenses for the NENDOROID Gumi and Crypton Vocaloids from GOODSMILE Inc. Since Gumi is part of GOODSMILE's Nendoroid series, SEGA can use her as well. Main Partner for Project DIVA Game Series: CRYPTON Future Media Main Partner for Project Mirai Game Series: GOODSMILE Inc. MikuFlick Series is part of the Project DIVA Game Series. MG Miku is developed by Marza Animation Planet Inc. with SEGA as their partners. Miku LSP has a CRYPTON Miku License only. (No other Vocaloids, just Miku!) So there won't be any other Vocaloid like Gumi, SeeU, IA, ... in PJD unless SEGA gets licenses from their respective creators for usage. (Internet Co. Ltd, Yamaha, ...)
Screw SEGA! Spoiler Kidding of course, I love you sega... We don't need Project Diva to see our favorites in a videogame. Similar to what I said before, this topic isn't necessarily about JUST PD, cause we all know they belong to SEGA. If, for example, PowerFX wanted to make a game (boy oh boy I'd love to see that), they could just get another company to develop the game for them. It's all hypothetical here I believe... now that I think about it though, I would love to see a war between Vocaloid companies when it comes to making games. Spoiler And why deal with licensing costs when you have a wonderful fandom that can create all the Vocaloids for you! Even UTAUs! And even derivatives! And many more!
As long as there are plenty of tracks featuring Miku I could care less about the other Vocaloids :) A bit of variety is good though. But out of 32 odd tracks the majority need to feature Miku. I guess GUMI was popular enough to get her own game, doubt we will see games featuring the other Vocaloids. Which isn't a shame if I think about it.
Opinions will be opinions but there are plenty of fans who would love to see more Len, Luka, and my favorite, MEIKO.
