    I wish I could, but it's simply not possible given my situation. I'm hoping to move to Japan in about three years, though, so if that works out I'll be able to make up for it with lots of Miku concerts! ^_^

    I will not be there, but as i've been to some concerts, i can give you some tricks, if you want;

    first, be sure to have a concert ticket :

    there will be 2 concerts the same day, will you try to go to both ?

    don't forget to have some energy drinks in your backpack or to buy enough of them at the "official refreshment shop". A miku's concert is a real marathon.

    Have the maximum pleasure with this experience/concert and don't forget : Miku is real.

    I'll need all the tips anyone with experience can dispense. This will be the first time I'm traveling to Japan, first time to a Miku concert, etc... I'm trying to find people also going in the hopes that we can go as a group (hotels, touring, souvenirs, etc.) but so far no dice.

    Does anyone know if I'll need a special power adapter to charge my phone while in Japan?

    Sorry, they doesn't seem to be a way for me to edit my previous post.

    Unless I'm chaperoning some kids, I won't be able to go to the daytime "U-18" concert. The other stuff (culture & mirai) sound pretty interesting.

    I've just read that about the under 18 concert, http://s.mxtv.jp/magicalmirai2013/maji_u18_en.html, this is sad, maybe, maybe you can try to ask Maakun (he has a Japanese Girlfriend), maybe, maybe, maybe she knows someone under 18 who will go to this concert or want to go to this concert but can't find an adult to escort; who knows ??

    About the power adapter, it works under 100 v everywhere in Japan, 50 Hz in Eastern Japan and 60 Hz in Western Japan. Just check the instructions on your cellphone charger, it seems to be the same as the USA outlet.
