[Contest] ~Fan Art~ Luka fans unite

In honor of today being the birthday of my favourite Vocaloid Megurine Luka I have decided to host a contest. Being my first hosted event I hope I'm doing it right and if not please feel free to comment below and give me advice. This will be a Fan-Art type of contest, each participant must submit a work of their own and the very best artists will be given a prize.

Entries must be submitted starting from January 30, 2013 until Feb 28 2013.
The deadline has been extended to March 2, 2013

This year's theme will be: "Memories of Summer"
- Your entry should be based on your personal feelings reflecting the theme and what you personally consider "Memories of Summer"

Here are the ground rules *Updated February 18 2013 6:45PM EST*
1.You may only participate in this contest if you are a registered member of ProjectDIVA.net, and your registration does not break any rules.
2.All submissions must be hand drawn, digital art is good but can be hard to authenticate.
3.Do not trace or copy another person's work, all work submitted must be something you alone have done.
4.Do not try to use any loopholes, unfair tactics or illegal actions.
5.You must submit both a photo and raw scan of your work.
So that's two pictures
-Your entry
-A photo of your entry with your user-name on a piece of along paper with it. Just like if you were going to submit a score for the high-score tables.

6.Do not create anything offensive or of an overwhelming sexual nature
-Yes we all know our dear Luka is gifted in many ways but have some respect for she is a lady. That being said, there is nothing wrong with a little sexy drawing, just don't overdo it okay?

7.You can use any photo uploading site if you prefer. However it must fit within the legal guidelines of that site.
-Neither ProjectDIVA.net nor I are held responsible for any issues you have with the image hosting site.

8.Only one entry per official forum member, multiple entries will not be accepted and the user will be disqualified.
10.This has to be a new drawing and cannot be something previously done or submitted on another forum.
11.Please do not bribe the judges, it's not fair for everyone else even though that CD was pretty awesome....erm I mean...
12.Once the winners have been chosen you will be contacted via a private message.
13.Once a response from the winners who have been contacted is confirmed, each one will be announced on this thread along with their winning entry.
14.Entries must be submitted before the deadline, anything submitted afterwords will not be judged.
15.Do not save a spot with a blank post for your entry. Only post either an entry or comments.
16.In the odd occasion that there is only a single entry for this contest after the deadline, that person would be able to choose which prize they would like.

*These rules can be amended at any time in case I've left something important out. So please keep an eye on this first post in case something updates.*

Additional Rules -On my end-
-If for some reason there is any problem with sending you the prize, you can either have it sent to someone else that can receive it for you or we will come up with other arrangements for you to get it.

-In the case of unforeseen events on my side either I lose the prizes in some way or something happens to me. I will replace them immediately or give you a gift of the same value at my own personal cost.

As a final note, if you'd like to incorporate Tako Luka into your drawing you can. ^_^
-This is not a requirement and is completely optional.

 

Yes the drawing can be any way you would like provided it fits the theme, this included scenery and costumes. As far as negotiating prizes, well that might have to be between you and the other contestants depending on what you win.

Well in turn I along with many others I'm sure would like to thank you for developing such a great community. I know I keep saying this but it's something to note, in the short time I have been here I can testify how kind and open-minded this community is and that it's truly a wonderful place for anyone to join.

 

That's alright, mine tends to get those spots as well.

 

In the odd case that it did ever happen you'd get to pick whatever prize you'd like. I didn't think to put that kind of rule in place because I'm sure that won't be an issue, I guess I could add it though.
