Seconded! I like the details and the graphic design of the PS3 version, but PDf is of course better with the improved flow and movement of characters and their clothing as well as their facial expressions. My favourite part is Miku's hair colour, it's more green than blue now ^^
This should mean PDf + PS3 = the most superior of them all, right? ;D

There is a certain charm for the original PSP model but I do have to say that with every facet of technology as time rolls on I like to keep a balance of feelings for whatever platform I'm using at the moment. It's the same reasoning as to why Dreamcast games to me still look amazing despite the fact of aging. However if I had to choose I would say the Playstation 3 model based on the added fluid motion and expandable abilities for the process. In other words the Playstation 3 hardware allows for far more than what the PSP can offer, the Vita being a lite Playstation 3 is a good foundation for future development on what the Playstation 3 can handle. In other words, if it looked amazing on the Vita then it should be more than possible on the Playstation 3 with even further detail.

About now I'm realizing that I'm making my post more complicated than it needs to be so I'm going to end it here and put my vote in for the Playstation 3 model as there is only room for things to get better with enough care and attention.

Is there an option to say Arcade? If not.. my preference would be the PS3 for the realistic feeling but other then that.. The Vita would follow up nicely as it has the realistic effects such as the lighting from the PS3/Arcade!

Well correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't the Arcade version come out before Diva 2nd? So if anything the more recent PS3 versions from Dreamy Theater 2nd until F would an improved version of the Arcade models right? Or do I have that all wrong?

Well the Arcade version did came out before DIVA 2nd but the Arcade version is suppose to have better graphics as it runs on specialized hardware, you can try comparing DT and Arcade videos.

Never noticed that before, thanks for pointing it out to me. Well it makes sense seeing as it utilizes the Ringedge technology I suppose, forgot all about that lol.

Re: Which Miku-model do you prefer? PSP/PS3/PSvita ???

Hmm I like the Arcade / PS3 models the most but mostly because of the details in them, mainly the shadows and movement of the cloths. I like how the PDf models look, they have a cute, anime like feel but they miss the movements like the tie of Len and Miku and also the ribbon and bow of Rin almost never move. The Arcade/ps3 models also have better shadows, like the shadow on the ground is really a shadow of the model instead of just a darker spot on the ground.
I think if they could combine the 2 models they would be the best but for now I choose the Arcade/PS3 models . ^_^

The way I look at it, Arcade and Dreamy Theater graphics do look the same, and I've seen some Arcade gameplay videos and PVs. They're both waaaaay too similar to each other. :\

Well, this is Dreamy Theater's Pardichlorobenzene
    [IMG]

And this is the Arcade's Pardichlorobenzene
    [IMG]

You can see the differences in the Arcade and the Dreamy Theater. In the Arcade ver, you could see Len's shiny texture in his eye and the graphics are refined.

Re: Which Miku-model do you prefer? PSP/PS3/PSvita ???

This thread is kinda old now but I think I wanna give my opinion with the new Future Style F Arcade thing coming out (boy am I still pissed at that xD)

The original PSP Miku I love dearly, a lot of it has to do with the fact that the tie isn't just stuck to her body. I'm also a sucker of low poly graphics, I don't know why, but I love them to a certain extent.

Dreamy Theatre and Arcade are way too shiny for my taste, they look like their made of plastic and clay (especially the hair and clothes), but I still like how much prettier they look compared to the handhelds don't get me wrong xD

The PS Vita modules have got to be the best in my opinion, they don't look like their made of plastic, they have so much emotion to their facial expressions, and they look right. The PS3 F however... it's the EXACT, SAME, THING! This is an outrage for someone like me, I was expecting improved graphics since it's on such a powerful machine. Something like this is extremely noticeable on songs like The Divine Comedy, the chibis look horrible on a system like that. They were able to revamp f on the new Arcade, why couldn't they put that much effort in F? I'm not gonna pay 80 bucks for a game I already have, I'd buy it if it was actually improved but it's not so even though it's the same as the wonderful f graphics, F is lowest on my list due to it's failing to reach it's potential.

    Summary: f>PSP>Arcade>DT>F

Nendos aside, the PS3 version does have slightly improved graphics over Vita.

Yes, definitely. Particularly if you're not ONLY looking at models. Weekender Girl, for instance, has a lot more going on in the effects department on the PS3 than the Vita. However, I think the biggest graphical improvement is the resolution and antialiasing. Everything, including the models, in F is so much more clear and beautiful thanks to those extra pixels and lack of aliasing (which Dreamy Theater and the PSP games seem to suffer from).

Could you explain more on the effects part. I have played F and I really saw no difference. I don't understand what you guys are talking about when it comes to graphics as well (besides the anti aliasing and resolution cause that's a given). Is there something I'm missing?

The lighting has seen an improvement and some of the songs were reworked to incorporate the extra screen real estate and processing horsepower. One example is in one of the official release trailers, where they show the improvements made to the ending sequence of Weekender Girl (at 1:56): http://youtu.be/-gkUTrqV8hY?t=1m56s
