I have a Japanese PSN account and I live in North America. Here's my dilemma. How would I buy things on a Japanese PSN account without a Japanese credit card? I would really like to buy the DLCs that are coming out.

you must buy a playstation network card.

But please wait for others members to tell which website has the best prices and how it works exactly.

    Anyway, welcome :)

EDIT : i deleted the link to a website.

I always bought my japanese PSN cards on ebay by a specific user. It wasn't the cheapest way but I got my codes per e-mail about up to 1 hour after purchase.

I bought mine from Japan-Codes after shopping around and getting some recommendations from other importing friends. They email the code to you. It was kind of a pain because they wanted to verify the purchase with a phone call (though I ended up doing it through Facebook after they never called, and you probably could through email). Good price, though, and they apologized for the delay in getting my code to me. I suppose I'd give them another shot if I ever needed to buy another card.

Avoid Play-Asia, specifically. They overcharge on their cards by a very large amount (usually +$10-15 for a 5000 yen card compared to other sites).

Well that pretty much blows! I've been using Play-Asia's service for nearly two years for exceptional service and always thought that the Japanese yen was worth more than the US Dollar! *laughs*

Pretty much everyone here has their own method in obtaining PSN.jp cards, there's no point in argument as long we get our own Miku-san... :3

This helps me out a lot as well, I'm saving for a Playstation 3 so anywhere I can hold on to some money the better. Funny thing is that I was just thinking of making a thread like this but after some searching, sure enough someone made one already. I like it when things are easy every now and again.

Purchase my codes from psnjapancards dot com. The service is very safe. You get your codes instantly after paying through paypal.
