    Looks like Miku has surpassed Sonic. If Miku's in the next Super Smash Bros, I'm afraid they'll remove her in the English release or change her name or something...

    i don't think they'll remove her, in ssb melee for the gamecube all japanese only stuff was still in the other versions of the game. but some trophies and stuff were unobtainable. so maybe if miku is disabled in an english release we'd just need a cheat module/disk for the game.

    anyway, in ssb brawl for the wii you were able to access music and trophies (and helper trophies in the fights) of japanese-only games even without cheating.

    also remember in online mode (Nintendo WFC) of brawl you can fight against people from all over the world. it would be weird to fight against a player who unlocked miku on WiiU without being able to unlock her on your own version you have.

    That is correct. Even if she get's removed outside from Japan her data will still be inside the disk. So we will just have to use a Cheat device in order to have accesses to her.
