Dreamy Theater extend coming September 13 [updated Sep 6]

    Finally we're getting a release date! And it's just about a week away!
    SEGA has announced Dreamy Theater extend, the "expansion pack" for Project DIVA extend, for September 13. It will hit the Japanese PSN Store for 3900¥ (about 50$ or 40€).

    The game includes all songs and modules from Project DIVA extend, and even more: 6 modules from the Project DIVA Arcade were added!

    That's not all, SEGA added a new "Live Mode"! This mode contains recreations of the SEGA concerts, and you decide the camera angle and create custom playlist with the songs. This mode supports 3D TVs, too. There's a bit of Live Mode being shown in this new trailer, starting at 1:15.

    Currently confirmed songs for Live Mode are: Electric Angel, StargazeR, Disappearance of Hatsune Miku, Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, Just Be Friends, World's End Dancehall (the only non-PDe song), Meltdown, End of Solitude, Time Limit, SPiCa and Puzzle.

    Like the other parts of the Dreamy Theater series, you will have to connect your PSP to the PS3 the first time you play. DTe is an expansion, not a standalone game. It also will not work with the Vita, you will be forced to use a PSP with the game.

    It's sad when we still buy another 3900¥ for another DT game. Even if it's only 2 weeks after PDf release.

    Might hold on for a bit on getting this since PDf just came out can't really condone spending the 80 bucks for the PSN card through Play Asia to get this. If anyone knows of a better cheaper place to get PSN yen currency cards/codes then I'd be more inclined though ^^.

    We noticed that too, there are no sources on their news page. I usually refrain from using news not using sources, but Siliconera has been quite trustworthy. There was another piece of news about which songs will be able to be watched in Live Mode, but there was no source given either so I haven't added that yet.

    (For those interested: The songs in Live Mode are supposed to be obviously SPiCa and Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, followed by Kodoku no Hate, Electric Angel, Just Be Friends, StargazeR, Puzzle, Time Limit, Meltdown, Disappearance of Hatsune Miku and - here it comes - World's End Dancehall.

    I've been questioning his site since he was reporting on PjD f. At the time, he was posting extremely generic and easily guessed information. There was nothing he reported that really made him stand out. I'm like you, I prefer to hold out until news can be confirmed with 100% certainty. My reputation as a news writer is on the line.

    If what he reports is true, then it was likely a news leak from 2chan. That's where all leaks such as this typically originate from (such as the sakura nendo order date being revealed over a week before it was officially announced).

    And they will ask themselves, why nobody is buying it ?

    Answer: because "Miku no hi daikanshasai 2 days complete box" then "Project Diva F" then the "limited Hatsune Miku PS VITA" then "accessory pack" then "Miku flick/02" and for those who are living in Japan, all the events (can't write all).

    Money doen't grow on trees, that's all

    Too much things in the same time :(

    Japan Codes is much cheaper place and they have all PSN cards on sale right now! Even regular price is many dollars cheaper. Bought twice, no problems.

    Seeing that it has new modules and the camera mode makes me hope that's why it costs ¥3900. If it has songs from all 3 games, I'm gonna pissed since I already have DT and DT2nd. Won't be getting it anytime soon though, just bought 2 Uncharted games, a vita, and f...I'm broke.

    According to the DTe site, only the songs from PDe will be in the game.

    Pretty much what you said Suyo i don't know why they wouldn't support DT1-2 but if what I gleaned from the DLC section there supporting certain PD2nd DLC? And thank you marioysikax and chaoelite I might get yen from them from now on if there prices stay competitive ^^.

    Buy from Japan Codes thats the cheapest website to get japan psn cards and they sometimes have sales on them. 4,000 yen would cost you like $60 instead of $80 there. Of Course you're look at $72 for the 5,000 yen cards. Thier 3,000 yen cards has always been the most cheapest however! You can also find them on Facebook. From there you will know when they announce cheaper sales for thier cards.

    well imma get the 3,000 yen card for $42.60 from supplier i use i could probably get coupons from the site i use but i don't do facebook and twitter xD

    Seriously can anyone explain http://miku.sega.jp/dt-extend/dlc.html to me. Is this a DLC pack from 2nd thats going to be supported because the witchy Luka module doesn't look familiar to me?

    Well, looks like the Christmas backdrop is in Golden Night this time around. Hopefully this means Electric Angel will have the alternate stage too.
