I really want to get the new game, because of all the new additions of songs. But there's one thing that bugs me. I don't know if I can buy a PS3 here, in the US, and be able to play it on the console I buy. I don't want to buy a PS Vita, by the way. How can I make this work if I just buy a PS3?
It won't be region locked. I suggest you to buy it as game module because if you download it from PSN, you'll have to reset/format your PSVita first (without formating your memory card!!) to change the PSN account on your Vita. If you use a non-japanese account to play it will be quiet a problem because the downloaded game will require you to use a japanese account to play (the one who bought the game). So getting the game on an original Vita-card will be possible with any PSN-account on any Vita.
Okay. Thanks. So what if I just get a PS3 and then buy the game online? I won't have any trouble playing it?
On a PS3 you'll be able to play it with all accounts activated on your PS3. You'll still have to download it with a japanese Account. The only restriction here is just that a PSN-account can only be activated on five PS3 consoles at the same time.
I don't get what a PSN account is... And do you mean that I won't be able to play the game on my PS3 unless I have a Japanese account? How do I make a Japanese account?
A PSN Account is needed to play online or buy games online. Shortly said it's needed for everything of the PlayStationNetwork (PSN). You need a japanese account to download the game and play it on your PS3 or Vita. If you get the game as VitaCard or PS3-Game-BlueRay then you won't need one (except you want to download DLC like additional songs or modules for the game).
Sorry to be so repetitive. >.< Okay, so consider this: I buy the game in the case (new) online (on Amazon) and have it shipped to my house. It comes, and by then I already have an American PS3. Would I be able to play the new game I received right away. since I didn't download it online?
Yes you will be able to play it 100%. All three consoles (PSP, PSVita, PS3) don't have any regionlock even if the games show regioncodes on their backcovers. (older ps3 and psp consoles with the first firmwares do have regionlock, but those are only on PSP-1000 and the first PS3 which has the PS2 compatibility. after a firmware update the regionlock will be removed)
I wonder why they decreased the share count to 2 I'm not sure if I'll get Dreamy Theater Extend yet just because it doesn't look like theres that much an improvement over 2nd and those games are the only ones I see having this sharing issue.
maybe too much acc sharing between friends (login into your acc on a friend's ps3, download your bought games and he can keep them)
Play Asia says the game is not Region Locked but I'm not sure if that info will change http://www.play-asia.com/Hatsune_Miku_P ... -4yjx.html http://www.play-asia.com/Hatsune_Miku_P ... -4p81.html Witch of these two prices are the correct price? PS. The PS3 version doesn't come out till 2013 Wait it is available for PSP?
Difference in price is japanese version verses asian version so that is why one is cheaper. f will be region lockless because as far as i am aware the systems it is on do not support region lock and no it will not be on psp miku hatsune was using it as a reference and i used to have a first gen ps3 and i could always play games from other regions not sure of patch he talked about it would of had to be very old patch :)
