http://www.vocaloidism.com/hatsune-miku ... mo-leeked/ Apparently someone leaked early demo of the PSP Game "Project Diva" which was available for download for short time in 2008 till SEGA took down all the links. Does someone here have it?
I'm booking in soon, but I'll like to leave some trails here in case somebody can pick up from what I've found today: The original filename might be "【PSP】(UMDISO)初音ミク -Project DIVA-(仮称).iso". I've found some Share DB hashes that show that this file was uploaded somewhere in 2008, but my PC is currently not set up for downloading from SHARE. :/ It appears to be roughly 150MB in size, according to pages. This forum does not allow posting of illegal links, so I'll refrain from posting any direct links. Also, I think that it appeared on Nyaatorrents as "hm_pd_003.iso", which is 143MB in size. Not sure if it's the same file though, but seems possible because of the upload date. It's a dead torrent, unfortunately. I'm also interested in getting my hands on this beta, since it looks significantly different from the final product. Good luck though. EDIT: I found "hm_pd_003.iso" on the Usenet, and it has a "0.0.3" written in the corner of its game cover screen. Unfortunately, it's really like what one or two people across the Internet wrote about their experiences with it: it's just a video (showing little gameplay) that plays... and eventually asks you to quit the game or it will automatically shut down your PSP (Which on mine, it'll crash and power off). Pressing CROSS will cause the game to crash and the PSP will power off. Out of my love for PjD, I'm seeding this on the old torrent although it isn't particularly interesting. Again, please use Google to find it. If there was actually a playable early build out there, it'll be interesting though. :/
When i opened PSP_GAME folder i noticed that LOGO.PMF is the only file out there located in MOVIES folder. A 16 minute long video with random content. Other ones (ANIM, AUDIO, CHK, DATA and etc) were empty. There has to be a playable demo somewhere. Search deeper. I uploaded the video in YouTube for reference. Content: - Early Project DIVA Trailer 00:00 - Early Miracle Paint 3D PV with no stage. 1:02 - Black Rock Shooter PV 2:17 - Last Night Good Night PV 7:03 - Black screen with Japanese letters + a song that i don't recognize. Can somebody help me with that? 13:25
But how do we know for sure that there was actually a playable beta that got leaked? Sure, some of the artists got preview copies that were playable. But what if this "beta" that everybody was talking about was just this150MB ISO image that only contained a video? I noticed that the articles that discussed this leaked "beta" all showed the same screencaps, which were also the same ones that were uploaded to Japanese game news websites around that same time. I never challenged that possibility, until after I got my hands on this demo. The message at the end says something like "Press the PS or HOME button to end the game. If not, your PSP will be automatically shut down." Google tells me that the song is "Anata ni hana wo watashi ni uta wo".
I'm posting here now without any hope for an answer, but still. If at least someone on Earth is nowadays able to put up links to this demo version, it will be a huge happiness. Every torrent is dead and all the links are hard to reach.
Yea because I've seen people playing it and it made me jealous as heck because it has a different PV and gameplay options and stuff and it makes me sad that there are hardly any links out there for it and the only dl link I saw was some dead torrent file that didn't work
I found a torrent wich is probably the demo from 2008. (image url) https://ibb.co/c8pwmGs eboot.pbp files are psp demos. The file size is 681.8 mb
The full ISO compressed weighs approx. 900MB (maybe less), the demo weighs less than 200MB therefore I do not think that this is the much acclaimed demo that we all seek, still thank you for the info =D
In this interview, Asami Shimoda and Saki Fujita said they played the demo. https://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/20081012/sega4.htm
