Kagamine HachiHachi Flower Fight is in the Extra Song DLC of MM+. The song is actually back!

I won't be surprised if I find out it was a mistake, because MM+ is a snowball with PS4 files. switch files, original arcade files and so one, everything that has stuck to it over the years - everything is there, and something cut from it very selectively.

not a mistake. it really is back. meanwhile "saturation" is actually hardblocked in the game, means normal modding to add the song back it gets prevented. didn't stop modding 2nd though, they found ways to bypass that block.

That's what I mean, because something works, something not work, a lot of other problems with input schemes, problems with sound, stutters and other shit on modern systems. Does it because denuvo - i do not know, but at this moment it not looks that much attractive.

Better to use Arcade version, it's more flexible to any input devices to use.

The game can be played using keyboard so making a homemade controller may be
easy as long as buttons are used for slides. Hack some arcade buttons on an old
USB keyboard. N key rollover and 1 ms polling are probably useful so maybe do
not use a really old keyboard. Maybe use a gaming keyboard with Cherry
switches. The really cheap gaming keyboards do not have 1 ms polling.

Keyboard default mapping for Playstation button symbols. Basically, WASD for
the left controller buttons and IJKL for the right buttons. More keys
for slides and multi-notes. (Sorry, I guess this board cannot do tables.)

    Button |Keyboard
    ----------------|--------
    Up, Triangle |W,I
    Left, Square |A,J
    Down, Cross |S,K
    Right, Circle |D,L
    Left Slide |Q,U,<-,R
    Right Slide |E,O,->,Y

Shortcut keys can be assigned for all 2, 3, and 4 note multi-notes.

More on N key rollover. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1761390/discussions/0/3390660147474911853/

Project Diva Mega Mix+ with DLC pack has 250 songs including "Kagamine
HachiHachi Flower Fight" but does not have "Ievan Polkka", "NekoMimi Archive",
or "White Dove". Maybe modders are working on this now. I really want my Polkka song.

PDMM+ has the arcade slider option. It appears to be the same as on Mega Mix but I have not tried it.

For slider I recommend to make LKP slider https://github.com/Project-Alpaca/LKP, it can be used like official slider from Arcade Future Tone cabinet and it's ideal variant for it. Verified by me, it's working great. The only nuance - no possibility to buy anywhere main microcontroller, maybe only if to solder out from CY8CKIT-043 and solder it to LKP board. But result worth it.

For MegaMix+ may be possible to make some a little bit easier variants with CY8CKIT-049 and slider pads from LKP (because they are amazing and can be used, may be, in any slider project), but with other firmware.

You mean official arcade slider? Something I doubt about.

MM on NS does not support PDAFT slider either. It does support Divaller and
Hori Future Tone controllers. There are mixed reports on whether firmware
upgrades are needed to work with MM+. I do not own any of these controllers
(too expensive) so take this with a grain of salt.

Does anybody have problems with the sound ? Even with my ultra config, it’s laggy and the sound is laggy and crackled. This is so disappointing

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get the game to not stutter so badly at every 14 minute interval (I timed it) I'd appreciate hearing them :( I have already tried playing in windowed borderless and running the game as administrator but the problem persisted (I just play fullscreen like normal now) I really hate being close to a perfect and seeing the game stutter and drop all inputs ... I exceed recommended requirements for the game but if anyone wants to know my specs I'd be happy to provide if that helps anything

Wish it wasn't such a huge problem because I love the game and I'm glad it's on my computer now. Weird though because I have friends with less beefy hardware who don't have this problem...
