Hi! :D Today I bring you a tutorial on how to create Custom DLC Songs, in addition to some basic concepts about certain files that are within the .EDAT. To get started you need the following programs: - CPKBuilder: http://www.mediafire.com/file/0k9fsm1z3zih4wd/CPK_Builder.zip/file - A template to make the DLC: http://www.mediafire.com/file/12lqbv8ots8lf3v/Custom_DLC_Template_-_Songs.zip/file - cpk_unpack (Optional): http://www.mediafire.com/file/lk6934xwm3dbr16/utf_tab07b7_special_nunsg.rar/file Let's start with the creation of the Custom Songs :0 The first thing is to have all the files to make the DLC in one folder, the song files (such as motions, scripts etc.) can be found inside the game's .cpk files, to extract them you can use AFS2EXT if you want to extract only some files but, in case you want to extract all the files you can use cpk_unpack. In case you don't know which file belongs to the song you are looking for, here are the IDs of each song (excluding PjD 1st). ID-01: World is mine ID-04: Melt ID-06: Strobo Nights ID-09: Packaged ID-11: Marginal ID-13: Miracle Paint ID-16: Song Of Wastelands, Forests, And Magic ID-17: Inochi no Uta ID-18: Hato ID-19: moon ID-20: Beware of Miku miku bacteria ID-21: Secret garden ID-22: Dear cocoa girls ID-23: Velvet Arabesque ID-24: Love list ID-27: Miku miku ni shite ageru ID-36: When The First Love Ends ID-37: Look at this way Baby! But it is much better if you leave the files in the same order, for example, the 204_effect.igb file is in thirteenth position so when we replace it with the file for our Custom Song it’s better to leave it in that position. You will see why later. Once we have all the files to make the DLC in a folder, it's time to open CPK File Builder :D When the program is open up, you have to go to the menu bar at the top in Edit -> Add Files ..., from there a window will appear and you must click Select Local Files ... Now you have to go to the folder with the files and select them all, then open it and then click on Add Files. Even so, be careful when selecting 1000_lyric.txt since when selecting it along with the rest of the files in the folder, it can cause the file to be positioned below 100_field_num.txt, causing that when the .EDAT is created it doesn't work due to the wrong positioning of the files, so I recommend selecting first all the files except 1000_lyric.txt and then once added just add the file 1000_lyric.txt. Before continuing, most of you have noticed that each file within the .cpk / .EDAT has an ID, this indicates the position in which the game will read the files so they have to have a specific order to work well, that's why I recommended you previously not to change the order of the files since if they are not well ordered the game may crash or the song may not open. Continuing, once you have the files in the right order, it's time to create the .EDAT. What you have to do is click on the Build CPK button at the top or can also go to Build… -> Build CPK… Once you have clicked the button, a window will appear, what you must do first is select the location for the .EDAT file and then use the following settings: This is the configuration I use, you can use another if you prefer, but remember that you shouldn’t change File Mode (M): ID + Filename, otherwise the game may not run it. When the configuration is set, all you have to do is press the Clean Build button and you have your Custom Song created UwU --As extra data I want to show you how the 09_data_param.dat file works-- Within this file is the number of files corresponding to each group, except for the first digit which is 0B, if we translate it to a decimal number gives us 11 and there are only 10 files within that group (although I may be wrong and it means something else x’D), if you don't understand what I mean, let me explain it better xd. The next number is 01 which refers to the audio file that is inside the .EDAT, the next is 03 which indicates the number of files that are inside the field group (which are three: 100_field_num.txt, 101_field_data.txt and 102_field_pv_xx .igb) and so on until you reach the file that contains the lyrics of the song (which is 1000_lyric.txt). This is something that I discovered recently and I wanted to share it, I hope this helps someone x’d And I think that would be it, I hope my tutorial has served you well. See you later OwO/ Any questions you can leave it below, I will try to answer soon as possible :'0
Huh, weird. I did everything mentioned on the tutorial yet the game doesn't seems to even recognize the EDAT file I created. I though that maybe I messed up while replacing the files but even using the template files the game doesn't recognize the EDAT. Any ideia why this happens?
You must change it, when you open the file will appear this "B 000" , you must change the 000 to the number you want the dlc to have, for example if you put 007 and then you do everything in the cpk file builder and you put the name as 007.EDAT the game will recognize it, im sorry if you dont understand i dont know how to explain
Does anyone have the camera ...00C/01C.igb names? What i mean is that for example:RTS = Romeo to Sinderella, AKB= Ai Kotoba, PPP means well Popipo etc thx in advance.
