I couldn’t help but notice people’s strong opinions of MegaMix’s reduced song number, so for Future Tone’s 108 songs currently missing from the game’s current 123, (including DLC) which ones are worth caring about? I say this while penning down my thoughts on the game, and taking into account about what I said in July about the cuts made to the line-up, how unnecessary they felt, the series celebrating it’s 10th anniversary; thus AM2 needed to curate a best of/greatest hits album essentially, and Future Tone and larger number being bloated. When judging the value of MegaMix’s price and lesser number of songs compared to Future Tone, there is the entirety of Mix Mode and it’s own 369 charts. Essentially is it quality of MegaMix? or quantity of Future Tone? (shameless sub-poll for that question) Then there is potential DLC to consider; SEGA revealed MegaMix sold 150,000 units in less than a month compared to Future Tone’s 450,000 while nearing Year 4. So while 18 songs are still planned to be added, we could easily see a ‘Second Season Pass’ show up in the near future. (I know, that there was that datamine but the leaker has since backed off from that claim) Since this website only allows polls with 10 choices; here’s where to vote: https://www.poll-maker.com/poll2805912xD1866B63-82 here’s this playlist I made to save the headache of research (videos from Karin’s Channel)
Going beyond this line-up being the few forbidden songs stuck in the Arcade version of Future Tone; Kagamine HachiHachi Flower Fight could be poised for a comeback; Nintendo has had a monopoly on the Hanafuda card industry for as long as Washington has been a state; when you consider the imagery, therefore, it makes sense to include it as a exclusive.
which is kinda cool! i really wasn't wanting to buy a PS4 just to get Future Tone for my favourite songs so to see a lot of them come back for the switch is so great. though i badly want break;down :'(
