[c][/c] Obviously, no PD game is complete without a PS3 expansion. [c][/c] The biggest new function in this part of the series is that it will support 3D TVs - you watch the PVs along with some three-dimensional effects now! You can also play and watch Edits on the PS3 - whether DLC works is not confirmed yet. Now, for some rather sad news... it seems the PS Vita is not supported. You will need a PSP to connect to the game and successfully start it, as it will, just like the other parts, require a savegame on the first boot. Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! Great news. I can't wait to play the songs in HD. One problem I had with the PSP version was framerate loss. Made getting higher than a standard on Ura-Omote Lovers almost impossible as the more notes which were on screen, the slower the game went.
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! Good. Now let's see the awesomeness of Sekiranun Graffiti, and Rolling Girl in HD when the video is either released. But this will be a pain in me digital wallet.....
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! Awesome :D Too bad I have no PS3 DX Anyway hoping for another Diva game for the PSP as well? I know extend isn't that old yet but I already want a 4th game.
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! awsomesauce! i just need to save now for this and i hope the client to transfer your save data is vita compatible since i no longer have a psp :/
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! It's about time they announce this! It was only a matter of time. But what's your source? I poked around http://miku.sega.jp but didn't see anything that I could discern. And was there a release date? It better not be ~Aug 30th cuz I will already be shelling out 100's of dollars for the blu-rays, PS Vita, and Project DIVA f. SEGA, you're raping me!
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! I can't wait to play the wowaka songs in HD. Although I hope it gets released earlier, I'm still budgeting for the LE Miku Vita.
Re: Dreamy Theater extend announced! Does it have an estimated release date if PDF comes out in August and the PS3 version of F comes out in 2013 it wouldnt make sense for DT Extend to come out in 2013 unless F for the PS3 is coming out really late 2013 which would be kinda sad.
Owning Dreamy Theater 2nd, I hope that the download will be in a paid patch form which adds all content from Extend onto DT2nd. Chances are there will be every single song from the previous 2 games on this version of Dreamy Theater anyway.
Great news! I am looking forward for some Off Vocals like Rolling Girl or Ura Omote Lovers~ (not the offical one, that one, which been used for PDEx)
I notice on dtex site usb ps3 usb i wonder if that means if it can go to vita like that or that may be wishful thinking lol
Lets hope so - i owe DT2 too and adding the possibility just to upgrade DT2 account into DTE is in my opinion way better then spending another ~4000 Yen just to get only few new songs...
@OveReAction: This Ura Omote Lovers is not, what i am looking for. It's the official (old) one. You may notice, that the current version is different. (Arcade Machine use aswell a different ver.) Since DTExtend will have these from PSP, they will also have off vocals.
This is GREAT NEWS! I would love to see Rolling Girl and Neko Mimi Switch in glorious HD graphics! And it's good news for the song End of Solitude, since the song in Arcade only got a drawn PV. Meh. And I am curious about something. The words indicating the difficulty shown on top of the screen (EASY/NORMAL/HARD/EXTREME) in DTextend have the same colour as those in PjD2nd and DT2nd.
they also have the acapellas (voice only) but on directly accessable, the off vocals are just with the voice sound file disabled, now we just need to find a way to extract the Project DIVA DT 2nd (& DT Extend once it's released) game files.
And how'd you do the Acapella on the 1st one? Ripped files? It's because they only show Normal difficulty. Not Easy/Hard/Extreme yet. Expect an announcement video.
any idea of release month or final price? am slowly buying yen cards for the release hope its not too far off
The price and release date aren't listed at the site but you can assume it's about cheaper than DT2nd (like about 3500 yen something like that) but you must prepare if the price turns out to be VERRRYY EXPENSIVE
