For many trying to perfect that “Arcade: Future Tone-Perfect” experience for their Future Tone game sessions either via DIY controller construction, or through HORI’s official and decisive mini controller; now a 3rd option is on its way. Hong Kong controller manufacturer GAMO2, is developing a unofficial Future Tone-specific controller that is more genuine (and especially smaller) than HORI’s officially licensed mini-controller, compatible with not just PS4, but Windows, and PS3. Be advised that quantities might be limited, and may not come cheap. I thank ProjectDIVA.wiki (or more specifically, their Facebook page) for bringing this to my attention, I may not care for this in the slightest, (unless it’s cardboard, worked on Switch, and worked like Nintendo’s pianos) but for the sake of Future Tone in particular; I thought I’d at least bring it up...
I have mine, and its beautiful... XD Playing FT on PS4. "Remote Controller" "Amatsu Kitsune" Very happy with my Divaller is a sweet Controller for playing Project Diva games. Greetings & Merry Christmas
@Zac Wood actually I'm more interested in how would they support slide notes on Switch. From the latest trailer from SEGA they slowed down the slider filling speed even more to the point that it almost look like PPD. If GAMO2 keeps using sticks to emulate the slider the result will be terrible. Just imagine failing the slide notes for swiping too fast so you ran out of sensor area and too slow that your input didn't even get registered reliably. It basically defeats the purpose of having an arcade-style controller. EDIT: From the latest Famitsu stream, the slide filling rate is te same as the previous test version. So they either reverted the change or it was a bug. However the previous point still somewhat stands.
Muse Dash on Nintendo Switch. Diva FT on PS4. Transparent Watercolors Tell Your World Happy new Miku-year :)
Thank you very much !! I'm glad you like it. Your project with the arcade cabinet panel is amazing, i like a lot. :) Divaller on PC. You need an app to map keyboard buttons on Divaller controller. Antimicro its very useful for this. https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro
Unfortunately not on my gamer rig. :( 100% sure is a driver issue. I have hardware drivers and software from Corsair, Razer, Steel Series, Cooler Master, Logitech and Creative... The last one before "Mega39's". "Terekakushi Shisunki" Diva Arcade PC, 4K, IPS, G-Sync and SBX audio.
There was an official update for the Divaller that Gamo2 released for it to fix the driver issue since I too had that problem... This update is for the driver issues. (instructions on how to update) And also, someone on discord made a fan update to use the Divaller as a native controller for Project Diva Arcade Future Tone, with a working slider and button light up that responds perfectly just like the arcade! I would suggest looking into it! *Important! You have to have the online (Aqua . net) update to use it! Video of the Divaller with the fan-made update. Video of him using it. Video of me using the update. DL to the fan-made update: ( on discord under "#Tools" ) Join the modders discord for PDAFT: https://discordapp.com/invite/cvBVGDZ He is coming out with another update to fix some stuff, so if it doesn't work don't worry, just update it again with the official update and it will go back to regular Divaller settings (With fan-update it doesn't do much but add another setting, so it doesn't change anything from your regular working Divaller) I hope you find this informative!
Um I'm not sure if this is supposed to go public. The author of the hook part doesn't want a lot of publicity so...
Also does anyone have pics for divaller pcb? I'm curious on whether or not they actually used leaked official PS4 controller security chip as they implied.
Thank you very much David !! XD Not only informative, very useful. Very grateful for your help David.
