Hello! As a request of many I decided to do this tutorial on how to remove or rather make certain objects disappear from a module. The first thing that you need is Alchemy Finalizer, here's the link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/w2qwjekoma7m6t6/AlchemyKit.zip/file It is a trial version that lasts about a month, after the trial period if you want to open the program you must change the date of the computer to any day that the program It was still allowed to open up. In the upper right part you will find a list called igAnimation Database when you double click there you will get two lists more one call "_skeletonList" (where are the position of the bones like the hair, skirt, etc.) and the second one called "_skinList" in this list are located the attributes and the location of the textures but here is a problem like all (or at least most) of the modules are composed in different ways the following list can be in different places depending on the module, but the point is that at some point you have to find lists called "_childList" these contain sets of attributes named literally "igAttrSet" some of these should have the name of some texture as in my case "CRM_MI_007_par_00" this list contains the location and attributes of the same. Anyway, by right clicking and pressing "Delete Item" will remove the attributes and location of this which will give the impression that you have removed the object but is only invisible. Once the item is removed go to "File" and then to "Save" or "Save as". And with that the module is ready to be created. Keep in mind that for now it is possible to remove all the texture and not a part of it so if you delete "CRM_MI_000_bod_00" for example all the parts of it will disappear (the skirt, the tie etc.)
Actually, use a program called RunAsDate and don't make the time move anymore in the app, so when you open Alchemy, it will open at the time when its still working, and you won't get the "This version of ALCHEMY has expired"
I can't get Alchemy Finalizer to open, I tried changing my date and the RunAsDate. Am I missing something??
Finalizer is located in C:\Alchemy\ArtistPack\Finalizer and the app is SgFinalizer.exe. I set the date of the app to run on March 10, 2010
I know that all this has to be done with alchemy, and I have it thanks to Kasumi. But the issue here is that like others, I'm a total newbie with using the alchemy. So I need to be explained in detail, like a tutorial on what to do with what I'll be asking about here. Which is not just to remove parts. But to also change and add. Sorry to be asking a lot over this. First is how to remove just little parts of a module. And I've gone through this tutorial, but I don't want the whole texture gone. Just part of it. In fact, all I really want removed is the cat ears & tail to Kaito's Cyber Cat. And where the ears & tail come out, to just color in those spaces if I have to. As for changing parts of a module, which is just on the head. What I to try to have changed/replaced are these. On Rin's head, her headphones & bow be replaced with Miku's Cat Girl headphones & ears. Miku's Powder hat & earmuff headphones. And Miku's Vintage Dress crown & flower. And about adding parts to a module, they're only on the head too. Here's what I want do with this idea. For Rin and Haku to also have the sunglasses for Miku's Pink Pop's. Luka and Meiko to have the eye cover for Haku's Cyber Dive. And for Meiko to have the hat for Luka's Witch Girl Style.
I don't think you can add parts from a module to another. Cause I've been trying to do that. But it seems like you can't.
Yeah, I know. I realized it shortly after that post I did explaining what I wanted to do. So like it's shown above, it can only be whole texture.
Well, actually there is a way to add parts from one module to another, there is an optimization called "Combine Animation Databases" that allows to merge skins, skeletons and animations as long as they have different names (for example: "miku_skin" and "miku_skin_2"). The problem here is that in the case of PjD Extend only reads an igSkin object and an igSkeleton so you can only see one of the modules, in the case of PjD 2nd the game simply crashes. If you want I can explain more in detail.
No, it's ok, you don't have to into detail. I think I get the idea. That even though it's possible to add parts and merge skins, it doesn't work out in the game.
Act Actually I'm interested in knowing more of what you were talking about! Could you tell me?since I've been diving into the whole custom thing and getting Alchemy for myself^^
