Why only use two slots instead of four? For both L and R macros I use my index finger, unless it's necessary to use both L and R in succession like on Gothic and Loneliness Extra Extreme. It's mainly practice, since whenever I change macros, I usually have a lot of trouble getting used to the new set. Using only triple note macros, I almost perfected Gothic and Loneliness Extra Extreme yesterday. My best run was of only three mistakes and I'm still salty. =( However, I never thought I'd be so close to passing such a hard song so soon, so you just have to believe! =)
I tried to use macros also in L and R analogs but I really can't do the arrow notes with the thumb sticks...
So....I changed my opinion about Parajikurorobenzen (still can't write the english name :D). Since I got DX a week ago I swore to myself to perfect this song first because I like it so much. Now I'm starting to hate it -.- I can't do these double note spams (like x and square) so fast, no matter what I try. I can't even get a standart so... yes it really is horrible :D Oh and happy new years ^-^
Paradichlorobenzene... I guess it helps to study Chemistry to get that title right xD As for x and square spam, you should be able to dual wield that by pressing both buttons on either side with one thumb. A lot easier actually than other combinations.
I know what it's supposed to mean but the japanese name is easier for me ^^ I agree, I'm trying to learn that right now. I tried macros at first but that wasn't a huge help. Then I tried do do it like Hisokeee (he just presses the buttons 3 times in a row without using both thumbs). Would be my prefered method but when I try that the 3rd one is going to be a safe or worse. And I can't keep up with the speed the last minute or so. So I'm relying on my thumbs now ^^ It feels totaly awkward to me and the results are horrible but I hope I will get used to it eventually.
