Discussion Much ado about textures [PDX dumped]

I got my hands on a PDX dump from the Vita. (Not mine, not going to link it. I do own a hard copy of the game.)
I am currently sifting through like, 1000 textures to see if any go unused and there's a hindrance.
If anyone is willing to help me, wtf is a SPR file???? I've seen it talked about on xentax (and I should prob ask over there too) but the answer they gave was "view it as raw in irfanview" but that doesn't work...
I've looked in using a hex editor + using TextureFinder and it seems to be a DDS/DXT1/S3TC file but when you load up the texture it's all f-ed up??? It's all streched out and wonky looking!

actually, it doesn't seem like the songs are protected in any way shape or form. They're literally not even in the data.psarc file (which holds all the game's files). They're your bog-standard ogg files, oddly enough.
Funnily enough, I didn't look at them before this post, and they're only the background music (?). I don't know where all the voices are for the songs. They're probably stored in some soundbank.
Also, I was able to extract the voices (i.e onegai, toikake, yaruki) from their original VAG format, but they're broken. The PS Vita uses HE-VAG and it doesn't have a decoder yet (not that I know of) so the voice sound files are a nightmare fuel mess.
If wanted, I can upload the song oggs.

  All songs have a short medley version. They start with PV_7xx, normal songs start with PV_8xx.

 

I was able to successfully modify Project DIVA X using henkaku and the patch instructions on wololo.net! It's pretty damn amazing, too!
