Hey, we finally managed to get something done in the Staff Forum! That calls for a celebration, everyone who participated gets a free copy of "Tell Your World"! Wooo! (what do you mean you would have gotten it before... psh, that's the joke, be quiet before someone notices)

Anyways, here are our truly professional judgings:

xtokashx 8/10
A very interesting idea, hightlighting the inner conflict.
The interaction beetween the two characters is great and for the most time the clipping can be ignored, but while the "fusion" part was a good thought, it looked pretty ugly with all the clipping going on. The usage of the various motions is amazing, it seems you really took some time to find the right moments during the moves.

EvergreenGem 6/10
More on the simple side, but taking advantage of the recent developments in Custom DLC.
Motions and stages are well chosen, but there are two big problems - first, the lipsync is completly off. It seems you just randomly chose any of the options. I guess this was done because you started pretty late and didn't have much time, but still, it don't look really good.
Also, some changes seems oddly timed - for example in measure 183, where the chorus starts on 2.5, but the big change is at 4.0. This might be intended, but it just confused me. Also I have noticed you didn't use the offset we gave you in the contest post - if you had used it, the timing would have been more accurate.

The first thing I immediately noticed when opening up the file from the edit mode menu was the custom picture you had added. This not only made it easier to classify your song, but also added to presentation, showing that you took great pride and passion into the PV.
The PV itself is amazing and it really highlighted the rebellious-sounding nature of the song. The choreography was well timedand executed too. I especially enjoyed the part where they were being pulled through space.
There is only one element, I thought was a bit strange and that was the placement of the models in freeze frames. This is because they would sometimes overlap. Though I know there is one instance where this is intentional. I still feel that the models should have been placed a little further from each other to avoid overlapping in all other instances.
Apart from that, I thought it was a fantastic and well designed PV.

EvergreenGem
A very basic PV, but despite that, you have really made it your own. The PV transitions smoothly between scenes and the scenes have been well chosen to fit the mood of the song. The only gripe I do have however, as Suyo picked up on is the lipsynching. I felt it was a bit all over the place. However, given the time frame you gave yourself to create this PV, I certainly feel you have done a good job.

An amazing PV, well done with a good idea.
This is probably one of the PVs with the best interactions between two characters. The PV was kinda yuri themed but also showed both of them fighting against each other.
The PV also had nice effects and a lot of stopped motion moments. Everything was matching well.

EvergreenGem 6/10
Basic PV and good choice of taking the Zatsune Miku Custom DLC.
Well the problems are already mentioned, the lip-sync is off and the big changes in the PV are a bit confusing. But still, it's a good PV you made for this short time.

It seems I got caught getting lazy with clipping. And that was the result of trying to rush it at the end. I didn't have an opportunity to go back and put the final polish on it. The modules being too close to each other at the end really bothered me too, but before it really poked me between the eyes, I had already captured the video, uploaded the files, and was getting ready for bed on the eve of the deadline. So I said, "what the hell, I'll leave it as-is". There were a couple other "unfinished" scenes, but what you don't know won't hurt you... XD.

I tip my hat to my competition, EvergreenGem. I never thought to use custom DLC content before. And I really liked how you staged a couple scenes near the end where Miku is running with the falling cherry blossoms. Good stuff!

Congratulations xtokashx you truly deserved it. The idea with Luka and Miku fighting was perfect, not in a million chances would i have thought of that. Thanks for the tips i'll put them to good use and the lip syncing kinda got on my nerves so i put random crap down. Lol. I look forward to the next contests. :D
