Will it be possible to play JP edits on the English version

    I know the English version of the game hasn't been released yet but I was wondering if anyone knew if you could play Japanese Edits on the English version of the game

    its not sure if its possible to convert i think.... directly using an japanese edit shouldn't be possible ._.

    I dont mean changing the title of the song from Japanese to english. I mean if an Edit is created on the Japanese version of the game is it possible to play it on the English version of the game without owning the japanese version.

    They may merge the online edit list for english and japanese versions in F2nd, but this is unlikely considering there's been no news about that.
    With F you could use a converter to make the Japanese edits playable on the English game, and this will hopefully still be possible with F2nd.

    I really wish they were lying as well but seeing as it was someone from Sega that said it, it doesn't seem likely but you can always hope that it is possible on release or they patch it in later

    Wow, it seems Sega dont know what the people want...sure more characters are cool, but most people who play since F know japanese Edits and want to get them because there is already really good stuff
    what a stupid thought of them ...
    double characters are by far less useful than compatibility with japanese Edit Data
    Dont see improvement at all....the smart way would be more characters right from start...i mean editor with japanese version dont really have cons with more space in lyrics lol...

    I tested it with someone that bought the na copy. it copies to your ps3 and the game will read it showing the title and difficulty but when you try to play it, you will get an corrupted data error. the only thing I havent tested is if it was because the save data had my user account protection on it so the 100% way to know is if someone that owns both games tries it. but if sega said they made changes to the edit mode then its even less likely this can work

    Nope it's not possible. I just tried it with n1tr0t0m's edits. :(
    No crazy song playing for me lol.
