I remember back when I tried to make an edit song in f I got really frustrated when I found out there was only one effect track and I couldn't have them fade into each other or anything the way I wanted. Glad for this! I also like the option to use the joysticks because during the summer my hands get really sweaty all the time and the touch screen is difficult to use so I can keep playing even when that happens now.
hahaha funny hat, didn't even try those joke items yet. Pretty much like Safros said, also must add that my edit pv's gained a bit more space after importing from first diva and could add more stuff to it xD.
I like most of the new songs, seeing more of my favorites put in and brought back from previous games. Difficulty increase is 50/50 for me, I kind of like the challenge but on the other hand I've gotten too impatient lately to replay a song dozens of times over to perfect it. Scratch notes can be hit using the analog sticks on the Vita, thank god. That is incredible, I can't even follow the commands after the first set. I like to believe I'm pretty good at the PjD games... But when I see this and other people perfecting the most difficult songs seemingly without effort just doesn't make me want to play very much...
From it's predecessor, EVERYTHING! *^* The revival of a number of modules you can pick from past Project DIVA games. Added difficulty. (Seriously, only a few of us l0v3 increased difficulty and IDK why~ XD It made my eyes water, but mind got more sharper~ =3=) Added more star note challenges. (Am I the only one who enjoys the STAR LINKS & DOUBLE SWIPE STARS? OAO) Improved PV performances, nonpre-rendered. DIVA Room got more stylish. (although interaction is a hassle~ XD) Old Project DIVA songs have their own unique 'Chance Time' effect~ (I <3 ROMEO & CINDERELLA & MUSUNDE HIRAITE RASETSU TO MUKURO'S CHANCE TIME EFFECTS! O3O) Last but not the least, THIS IS THE HAPPINESS & PEACE OF MIND COMMITTEE'S AFTER CHANCE TIME EFFECT! XDD RAINBOW SMOKE = POISON GAS EMISSION? OAO XD SHE KILLED EVERYONE INSIDE THE DOME! I SHOULD SERIOUSLY SHOW TO HER HOW HAPPY I WAS WHILE PLAYING THE SONG- wait. If the dome was enclosed and smoke spreads everywhere, shouldn't 39 also get hit by the rainbow poison fog and die along with them? O.o =3=
She's a siren who happens to be vocaloid, simple as that. This song is sick and wrong... In my opinion. *laughs* The song is "Yankee Doodle?" Dang, even I could not tell what Miku was singing during that mini-game... o_O It's the price to pay not for not staying in beat of the song. Honestly, it's not that hard now that both games have Analog capability. Just swipe it the same way you press the buttons, it's not rocket science! Unless you're playing on Extreme, good luck with that. =P
But making swipes on analogic controller in a song rhythm isn't hard, only requires time to do but the stick beats noises with sync is great to listen ( ̄‿‿ ̄)
I, for one, pretty much exclusively play on Extreme. Normal and Hard are just the prologues to Extreme, which is the real game imo. (wtf is Easy even)
Easy is Extreme for newbies. I can't stand World Is Mine because I get flashbacks to the hours spent on the floor by the Christmas tree just trying to survive through the song and finally doing so just to get cheap. I couldn't pass anything until I realized I could just try to press it like the way I press the minute button when changing the time on a digital alarm clock. Then I started doing better. The road to Extreme is a long road, but once I was there I had no reason to go back. In short, my prologue was 3 books long and the main story only half of one.
The return of the Sakura No Ame song with it's epic new version and PV. (Intro and Ending from the -standard edit- are missing while the new version has a new singing part near the end of the song.)
Something I like?? Y̶a̶n̶k̶e̶e̶ ̶D̶o̶d̶d̶l̶e̶ ̶M̶u̶s̶i̶c̶!̶!̶!̶ (*≧∀≦*) EDIT: Yankee Doodle Music... sorry... my mistake... =)
The PVs, they're just awesome. :3 I love their alternate endings but their normal ones aren't that bad too. XD I particularly love LukaLuka★Night Fever's and Double Lariat's endings, that gigantic Tako Luka and energy surrounding the space is awesome XD I think that Ura Omote Lovers and Kagerou Days have pretty innovative PVs too :) the fact that Ura Omote Lovers has an almost-different ending at the back of the PV and that Kagerou Days has two different PVs makes the game worth, in my not-humble opinion. XD And Clover Club's alternate ending is too adorable!! Actually all the PVs are nice. :) I just wanted to point out some of my favourite. Oh, other than the PVs, I find Sega so nice to let us place our own thumbnails for Edit Play songs ^^ and the enhanced Edit Mode interface is great. :D
They certainly did add a LOT more new effects to the PVs like the background blur for example. They are A LOT more appealing now compared to the ones in F.
I just played this today so there'll probably be more things I'll notice later, but so far: -I love the different coming in and going out animations when you choose them. I don't care how long they take, I find them very endearing. -I LOVE the interface oh my god. I actually teared up when I saw it. -The Chance Times for a lot of songs are sooo good and make songs I don't enjoy playing worth it in the end. -I love the different reactions when you do things in the DIVA rooms. I made it my mission to piss everyone off the first time I went in there. -I seem to get less random safes than F, which may be because of the auto-callibration thing. (I'm glad for that too)
[ ] Seeing all the new endings' really cute. (even if they ARE just SFX) [ ] The clapping game in the diva room's too cute I don't even. [ ] I love how getting some modules' "complicated" and not just "clear this song, you'll get the default module of it" [ ] Some challenge items' actually helps the gameplay. [ ] Everything else.
