I love DIVA series very much that I can keep play it restlessly, so actually I was a bit surprise when I checked my record after I had got the Platinum :).

Yes you can.

Edit mode are for the ones who want to create edit data only. Edit data can be downloaded and played without having Edit mode installed.

Edit: That is half-true. Edit data can be downloaded just fine, but it can't be played.

That's weird. What is the point of being able to download edit data then? XD

 

Maybe to prepare ahead of time before downloading Edit Mode? xD

I assume that the edit data you get online is just code or something saying like, "At this time do motion 56. At this time switch camera angle to this number. Move model position to these coordinates at this time" etc. But of course the game doesn't actually have motion 56, a camera around a stage, and the stages to move the models around so that's what the DLC is composed of most likely

For the birthday events, instead of buying those ridiculously expensive birthday cakes, you can just change the date of your device (PS3/PSV). You will need to exit the game, change the date, then reenter the game and that character's room to activate the event. Both manual date setting and gifting the birthday cakes result in exactly the same event.
